stars for their pricing, especially on top shelf items. All Montgomery County residents should shop here, you will save a ton of money. It's a very small shop and very easy to miss because Google Maps will NOT lead you to where you need to be, so just park on the street out front.

Great selection of wines and beers, and had a good sale going on when I went. Unfortunately the line took about ten minutes for me to check out, but doesn’t appear to be a normal occurrence and the cashier was very nice about it.

I live in the neighborhood and stopped in here the other night for a bottle of red, but was very pleasantly surprised to see that they have really upped their game in terms of variety of specialty beers. Tons of great styles/brewers/price range! I did get a bottle of wine, but also walked away with a 12 pack of Sour Hound (excellent) and Victory's Sour Monkey for my husband. The reason for the great selection? New ownership! But even more important (to me) was the great staff, especially Sonny...he is simply a lovely person! There are a few decent options for beer and wine on those 2-3 blocks of Connecticut Avenue, but this will now be my go-to place...and apparently they deliver (not sure if that's a good thing though!!!)
