This hospital is the best out there! My significant other had to have multiple surgeries on his stomach and the staff were very caring and patient! They are all so kind and wonderful to everyone who comes through the doors! The Subway and the adorable gift shop here are also pluses! :)

Always had a good experience.  They closed the allergy department so I only come here for dental work.

My family has been admitted here several times and almost every other hospital in Omaha also.  If someone in your family needs critical  or complicated care and you have CHI only health insurance, this is THE place to be. It is the only CHI teaching hospital. That means you get the best doctors and nurses. If you otherwise have a choice in heath systems for the same reasons, then UNMC is your only other choice.  For minor problems and procedures the rest are adequate. 

in response to a previous review; If you have billing problems at ANY CHI facility ask for the Patient Advocate number. They will steer you through the CHI system.

Had my son there. Had many complications but they took great care of my son and I! I had to be there 5 days total. Everyone I encountered took great care of us! They also have taken care of family members of mine. Great hospital!
