The playground at the Brighton Park Community Campus is a one-of-a-kind playground and one of the best in Chicago. This site opened in 2023 and features new playground equipment, a water spray feature, and a nature play area. The playground features several large structures that are hard to describe. These structures feature some familiar elements like slides and monkey bars but combine them in unusual ways. The water spray feature is immediately next to the playground and features a variety of jets from the ground and water loops. The nature play area is also in the same area and features a few different 'rooms' with different themes. This site is the new administrative center for the Chicago Park district and the buildings on the east side of the site are the administrative center and the park's fieldhouse. The fieldhouse provides access to bathrooms when it is open and the courtyard between the two buildings is a wonderful space with picnic tables. The playground has a soft rubber surface and is fenced from the street but not fully enclosed. There is a drinking fountain there as well as some benches. The site is currently bright and sunny and open. All in all, this is an amazing playground and a true destination playground; highly highly recommend. Playground: Amazing. Restrooms: Available when the fieldhouse is open.
The palyground and nature space are great for the kids to play. We're happy its in our community and cant wait to explore.
Unacceptable there’s no access to restrooms during the weekend, had to walk to Walgreens and then gas stations with kids that can’t wait that long. So sad to see it already with with trash all over.
Beautiful playground and nature play space. As an early educator I think it's important to have play spaces of this variety that meet the developmental needs of many children. The splash pad is big enough for many families to gather and we appreciate the nature preserve that is growing around the field house. We are so happy this is now in our community and excited to bring our kids here. We can't wait to check out the field house a bit more.
I like it it's nice and all but I don't feel safe anymore, there was a kid with it's aunt and one lady was talking rude to the kid then the aunt said to not talk to him like that then the kids who were with the lady went to go tell someone, randomly a whole lot of people came in with motorcycles and started chasing the aunt and pulling her hair and knocking her down.. never had I've seen that
Absolutely beautiful facilities and park, we loved it. There is a restroom indoors and the playground is really high end. There is a grass divide if you have a dog but I wouldn't bring them to the playground.
Cute park, building doesn’t look welcoming since I see no signs around it. I haven’t gone into the building, I assume we can use the facility there since there are no porter johns outside. They Have water sprinklers area next to kids playground. The playgrounds are gated, which is a plus! Garden is small but has nice path through it
The kids and I love coming here. Splash park is so much fun! Playground: Is new and big. Many options for play. Multiple swings and slides. Plenty areas to climb.
My grandkids really love this park they always have a blast Playground: They have football and soccer fields free parking up to 3hrs after 3hrs there's a charge for parking
New, clean, and kind of safenot at all. It's a difficult neighborhood, but most of the time, it's quiet. Playground: Yes Restrooms: Not sure Dog-friendliness: Yes Picnic area: Not sure
