On our vacation to OC NJ while on the board walk my family and I came across Chickie's and Pete's Famous Crab Fries and just had to try them.  Needless to say I can see why they are famous and we weren't disappointed, between the 4 of us we cleared a whole bucket.  The kids and the wife loved the cheese sauce and once we ran out refused to finish the bucket until I went and got more.  My son and I also had the boneless wings and I don't know what the deal with those things were but my son who usually complains about foods that are to spicy cleared them out with no problem when I couldn't eat anymore.  The people who were working there were real cool to and I my son and I enjoyed chatting with them about our vacation while standing there eating our fries waiting for my wife and daughter and for our wings to be ready.  Thanks for being awesome guys.

Had some of the crab fries and the fries themselves aka the seasoning were really good but the cheese sauce that came with it could've been a lot better.

Quite literally the best fries I have ever had period, the cheese sauce is exquisite, the spice on the fries is excellent, 10/10, you have to come here if you are in the area.

They took my credit card to pay for my food when other places were doing cash only. That is reason enough to give them 5 stars. I got the fries and wanted cheese to put on top and they were obliged to make what I asked for.

When on the OCNJ boardwalk have to get the seasoned Crab fries and cheese sauce. Cover them before stepping away from the canopy otherwise, we’ve seen the seagulls dive bomb other customer’s cup of crab fries.

After a walk on the boardwalk of Ocean City I highly recommend getting fries from chickie Petes they’re the best especially with cheese it’s a delicacy itself.

Let me just tell you...WE LOVE THIS PLACE My son Julius and I ....obviously who does not love Chickie's and Pete's food...lol...but the customer service is way over and beyond! Bill the manager is fantastic...along with his whole staff...We use the doordash option bc we live in OC and don't want to fight the crowds and parking-especially in the summer. Doordash is a great option to get this fabulous food-quick, hot and fresh! We always order the crab fries, chickie's cutlet original with honey mustard and the fried shrimp. The food is always fresh, crispy, hot and fast-Delicious! Sometimes ordering a couple times a week bc it is just so darn good-So THANK YOU Bill and staff for your awesomeness!

A small order of crab fries costs $7.50, family bucket is $19.99. If there was anything about these fries that resembled or tasted like crabs that would be fine. Instead the fries are coated in salty seasoning, and when you get to the bottom there is a ton of salty seasoning just waiting to creep under your fingernails and move in.  I'd give it 2 stars, but my kids enjoyed the fries.  If you must try them, skip the family bucket, and bring the blood pressure medication.

Note to those not from Philly: "crab fries" have no crab in them. They are just fries seasoned with Old Bay. The cream cheese dip served with them is good, though. Two people can split a crab fries and fried setup for around $20 bucks.

Way too much crab seasoning on the fries. Tasted like licking a salt block. Cheese sauce was great though
