I love this place,  I  go in at 3+ days a week before work and the guy is very friendly and personable. The owner  (I'm guessing,as stated above) seems to enjoy seeing the usuals and has a smile on every morning.  He's always there to help. They also sell tamales there $1.50 each. The  hot dogs on the other hand were a bit wrinkled last I checked.  All in all it's a nice place to shop and feel like you belong.  I think that's half the battle right there.  He's consistent.  And it's always the same person helping you out.

Yes it was bought by someone new and they now call it the Liquor Locker the place has been redone and reorganized inside more light, wider aisles, more merchandise.
 And they will try to get what you like so you don't have to go all over town it here in your own backyard.
