The blown glass exhibit is amazing. The video detailing the blown glass would be better if shorter and oriented at the beginning of the exhibit so that one can gain an appreciation for the art prior to viewing it, rather than showing it at the end of the exhibit. Additionally, the blown glass demonstration was neat, but it would have been a lot more helpful and interesting if the people blowing the glass explained each step and why they were doing what they were doing. They were pretty much silent, and we just watched. I would not pay $20 again to see it again--that's a pretty steep price for seeing a small collection and a strict observation of glass blowing without any narration; but it is worth going at least once, as the art is very impressive.

The gallery was neat. A lot of glass sculptures displayed.  Probably would have been a lot cooler if we would have gone to watch the glass blowing.  The video that is shown is way too long. Started watching in the middle and left before the end. Not sure why they were showing what they were showing and didn't want to wait an hour to find out.  Over all a good experience but wouldn't go back.

Beautiful new building housing the Chihuly collection in St Petersburg Florida. Well worth the trip! Beautifully appointed gift shop with reasonably priced items. I bought a Chihuly calendar for 2018 for $15. They also have a great movie you can watch about some of the glass blowing sessions that he does with other artists that work with him.  one of the best things to see in the Tampa - St Petersburg area!

Such an amazing place. They showed a glass blowing demonstration around the corner just before we visited, and my five year old son loved it. We explained to him beforehand that he had to be very careful and walk slowly with mommy or daddy, he was very well behaved, and really enjoyed the glasswork.

Beautiful pieces, not a place for small children. Only takes 2 hours to walk through exhibit. Take the time to watch the movie, it's worth it. Plus you'll see 50 more pieces. Go see FREE Glass Blown Demo. You'll get a whole new appreciation for Chihuly's work.
