Story

Our philosophy
Our goal at Children’s Day Center is to provide a nurturing, safe and stimulating environment that embraces learning through play to promote the physical, social, emotional and cognitive development of our students.

Learning through play
We believe children learn best by “doing,” and encourage creativity, curiosity and exploration. Given opportunities to explore the world around them, young children become active, involved learners. Children’s Day Center is a place where they can be successful and discover that learning is fun.

Partners in parenting
We believe that it takes a village to raise a child, and the child care provider is part of a family’s village. Parent involvement is encouraged at Children’s Day Center. Together with parents, we foster a community of support by having open and regular communication between teachers and parents. We hope to build this support system through monthly parent meetings, family events and volunteer opportunities.
