The science center is amazing! My son loves coming here, and for the first month or two of membership we came every day. The staff is all very friendly, and engage the children. They have been upgrading and adding new exhibits. I definitely recommend visiting :).

We had a blast and loved all the activities. A bit pricey but tons of hands-on fun. Staff were helpful and so cheerful.

Their 5 and under section is sparse, unorganized, and the fish tank is dirty and cloudy. The experiment with light table isn't high enough for a child to see over and no step stools were in the room. Other items were just thrown into the area with no organization or reason for that item to be there. They need more science related objects for toddlers. Just not puzzles and books, like we have at home. The rest of the areas seemed nice but none of the staff standing around (we came right at opening so it was not crowded at all) came up to show or explain anything to us. I had to approach them and ask them to show us. They seemed pretty young and uncomfortable in their roles there. Only one gentleman came up to my son and others and showed them how some instruments worked. At the interactive lab area I was impressed with the one experiment the staff member showed us until she left us to tend to someone else and did not return. Even when she knew we had picked two experiments to do. We also had to pay for adult admission to a child science center when we are just there to watch our children. Other places allow 1-2 parents included in child admission, and are half the costs. Other places also tag both the adult and child and check to make sure they aren't leaving with someone they shouldn't be. I walked out with my son and no one even looked our way to check. I'm very disappointed in that. Overall, I was not impressed and considered it a huge waste of money. It looks like the camp kids who came in 5 min before we were leaving got a lot of hands on attention but don't expect anything if you are a small group. We won't be going back.

We are so lucky to have a facility like this in our area finally! It is amazing to think that a group of people got together with a dream and raised the funds to make this happen. We just had our ten year old's birthday party here and did it at 6PM when they closed. The boys got to do two experiments, goo and lava lamps, feed the sea horses and have the run of the experiment exhibits. It was an amazing event and everyone loved it. Kudos to the professional staff! We will be back!

My son had his ninth birthday party at the science center. Of all of the birthday parties we've had over the years, it was by far the worst. A bad experience. Their schedule is to only allow the kids 35 minutes in the science center and almost an hour for the super boring experiment and food in the smallish, hot and stuffy party room. We had 15 but they allow up to 22, I can't imagine that. It was packed with 15 kids. The party helpers were not at all helpful and complained from the beginning at the kids for their behavior - too loud, not paying attention, not sitting in their seats, etc. My son became upset because the party was such a letdown. When I was out of the room with him, one of the helpers bawled the kids out; she later told her manager that my husband had told her to do it? She actually told my husband that the loudness was the problem and proceeded with her scolding, which was just an escalation from her previous behavior. Another one of the helpers threatened a kid that I wouldn't give him a goody bag if he didn't stop his poor behavior? It was unbelievable. I know they had a long Saturday of birthday parties but I felt like the party helpers were three more kids for me to manage. We would have been better off without their "help." I set everything up myself, served almost all of the food myself and had to specifically ask them to do any small thing they pitched in with. They did help clean-up, but probably just to get us out. When it was time to go, there were almost no parents to pick-up. Turns out, the lady at the front told parents who came at the right time to come back and pick up their kids 15 to 30 minutes after the party was over? Still scratching my head about that. It's a shame. I thought this was a great idea for a kid's party and it was awful.
