I like the Gilbert Chili’s.  It is well maintained and offers a family friendly environment. Without blaring music and loud diners. Everyone is welcoming and attentive.  This time, we were not prepared for the new menu which is quite a bit smaller.  Although the burgers are bigger as promoted in their ads, they still seem pricey... no bottomless fries here.  The food arrived quickly and was freshly cooked.  Our only disappointment was in the condiment sized (1 T) serving of chili that cost $1 to add to the burger.  I’m not sure if this was a mistake, but we were shocked.  Fortunately, our server came back with a larger portion.

Cajun chicken pasta. Food was fair. Not enough sauce or spice. Chips were oily and stale. Waiter acted like he did not want to be there. It was my birthday.. Not even a slice of brownie was offered as a kind gesture.

Food was delicious.. Service was nice and an upbeat fun personality... Sirloin steak was to die for... Well seasoned, and still juicy even though I had it well done...I will be going back..

I had the ribs which were very good. However, the people with me had the hamburgers and the fajitas. The fajita meats needed more salt and the cheese on  the burger was not very good we all shared the cookie in a skillet and we all agreed it was too sandy. We are more used to a slightly undercooked cookie.

The service was horrible.  Sat at the bar for 10 minutes before being greeted... both barenters seemed a little unfriendly.  Surprisingly, the fajitas were very good.
