As an employee at the Airport, I have mixed feelings about this location. The to go counter is usually slow because the cashier not only has to take the orders, but has to go package them and retrieve them from the kitchen. You can wait 5-10 minutes sometimes just to place your order. Not the servers fault, but management's fault. Overall, passengers are happy with it because it's one of the few sit down establishments in this side of MIA. Especially if you are flying out of terminal G which has little to no food options.

Thank goodness for this restaurant. When we arrived to Miami we were absolutely famished and needed a very good filling meal. Their chicken fajitas are delicious. They were cooked to order; veggies and meat were very fresh. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal here and service was very good. It is safe to say we found our go to restaurant when flying in and out of Miami.

While my friend and I had a 3 hours difference between our flight and our bus, we decided to eat at the bar a hour and a half before our bus departs. I set my watch for a hour because I knew boarding was 30 minutes before departure at 6pm. While sitting at the bar, my friend and I watched the only bartender stock the bar with cases of beer and walk around aimsly before acknowledging we were there. By the time he finally took our order and receive our order, it was 10 minutes before my alarm was set to go off at 6pm and our bus leaves at 6:30pm. Prior to ordering my food, I asked if this locate takes chili's gift cards and the bartender said yes. With that being said, I used my points on my Discover card to buy a 20 dollar gift card. When I gave the bartender my phone with the gift card, he said no we don't take those with no explanation. I told him I bought it from my credit card company but it made no difference. I asked to speak with a manager and It took her so long to come out he had to page her again. By now, I gave up on the g.card and just wanted to pay. The manager said that they only take physical cards and cards with chips which is bizarre to me since the Chillis BRAND sells the e-certificates on the website. By then, I was more concerned about the time wasted eating at the bar instead of being seated at a table that I paid and ran to my bus to find out it left a few minutes early. Since it was the last bus going out there, had to pay 90 dollars for a Uber to catch up with the bus. Ending up being a very expensive chili's meal. Would have been services faster if I had a attentive waiter.

Everytime I fly out of Miami or drop a friend or family member off at the airport we always eat at this Chilis. The food and service here is great. While it has a slightly smaller menu than the other Chilis restaurants, they have a great menu. Their chicken fajita's are out of this world. Food here is very fresh. Only reason giving 4 stars and not 5.... why do they close early? They should be open until 12 AM. They will have more than enough patrons to make up for additional payroll expenses.
