BEST THAI IN THE DFW! I would honestly say it’s the sauce. It also seems the food is very fresh. I may have just licked the plate clean. I would highly recommend to my family for either dine-in or take out.Food: 5/5
We enjoyed our outing at this restaurant. The service was excellent, very friendly and efficient. The appetizers were good but nothing that special. My entree was delicious so that made up for the appetizers not being that great! I had the Thai chili green curry with shrimp, my favorite! I will definitely go back when I am in the vicinity.
I've been to nearly every Thai restaurant in the area, including the very new ones and yet this one continues to be my favorite. From the outstanding and attentive service to the outstanding value and quality of the food, this restaurant definitely deserves a high place on any top restaurant list. We ordered the drunken noodles, shrimp fried rice, Red curry and Tom long soup- all of which I would gladly order again. Each item was served hot and quickly. The Red curry had a great delicate balance between it's natural sweetness and savoriness served with chicken- you can choose between chicken, beef, tofu and shrimp. The restaurant is always clean and servers are attentive to which I never had to ask for napkins or refills. Most items can be served with a spicy level between 1-5 with the final spiciness being "thai hot." Personally I enjoy level 2 spiciness with 3 being my max. My favorite items being the softshell crab, the red curry, seafood volcano and the Tom Kai. I gladly take both my family and dates here anytime. Parking: Parking lot is shared amongst other stores Kid-friendliness: Limited kids menu Wheelchair accessibility: There is a wheelchair ramp and can easily pull a chair out to accommodate a wheelchair.
I enjoyed my meal. I ordered the fried rice pineapple with tofu and a Thai tea. I’ll be returning for more delicious food.Food: 5/5
We tried Chilli Thai on a whim since it was near a store we shop in. We couldn't have been happier with the experience. First, the food is outstanding. We ordered the Pad Thai chicken medium spicy and fish curry soup medium spicy. Both were excellent with just the right level of spiciness. We were expecting the fish soup to contain pieces of fish, but it came with an entire fish filet - a welcome surprise! The wait staff was prompt, kind and our ice teas and water were refilled before they were even empty. Best service we've had at any restaurant at any price. The ambiance isn't fancy at all, but it nicely compliments the experience. You also get excellent value for money. We've been looking for a new Thai place since our old one closed down and this is definitely it!
My husband and I are literally obsessed. We discovered it on a whim almost a year ago and come back at least 2 times a month! It is our go-to spot when we de craving comforting food. Talk about amazing food at an affordable price. We absolutely love the food!! We come so often the wait staff recognize us and one even remembers our order. This is truly one of the best places in Carrollton.
Excellent food and service. Their Massaman curry and Drunken Noodles were great meals with large portion sizes. The corn patty appetizer was also great with the added peanut sauce. The restaurant has a unique smell when you enter, but nothing that diminishes the great overall experience.Food: 5/5
Great place with great Thai dishes! Staff is always welcoming and friendly. I personally think the food is the best around. My main "go-to".Food: 5/5
Great hole-in-the-wall! I've been sad ever since Coconut on Belt Line closed down, but I finally found a new go-to Thai restaurant. Looks great and clean inside, but I do hate that the handwash sink in the restroom looks like a urinal. Please change that ;-; Otherwise, the place looks great. Service is a bit weird. I mean, the waitstaff has always been nice and friendly, but they can be a bit too absent, sometimes. Also, when we ordered yesterday, the appetizer came out after my entree, and we had to wait another five or so minutes for my friend's entree it was the two of us. Timing is the only weakness here. My friend and I dine here about once every other month and the food is great. Combined, we have very much enjoyed the green curry, pad kee mow, soft shell crab, crab fried rice, curry friend rice, chicken lettuce wraps, crab rangoons, and Chilli Thai Volcano. Pad kee mow and green curry are sorts of comfort food for me, and it's nice knowing I can always get a good order here. The Chilli Thai Volcano is probably the most unique thing here and my favorite! It is pretty filling, though. Speaking of, the portion sizes for the entrees here are great! They aren't so large to make you super bloated, but they are great sizes for what you pay. I know I'm being a glutton, but portion size always worries me at a new place, especially with Thai food. Appetizers are more regular size, maybe even on the smaller side, but still good. The pictures are of the pad kee mow and the soft shell crab appetizer, not the soft shell crab entree. P.S. Forks are the proper utensils for most Thai food, but I just ask for chopsticks because I am used to them.
Atmosphere is very chill and relaxing. Went during lunch and service was really good. Very clean. The restaurant wasn’t very busy inside but there were lots of takeout orders. Tried the crab rangoons- they are tiny! I don’t think they’re worth the price. Also tried the spring rolls. Pretty good but not outstanding. The green curry lunch portion was filling and tasty. Hoping to try something else next time.
