Chimney Concepts was one of three companies that we had inspect and quote on our chimney. They were the most knowledgeable about our chase and cultured stone chimney. They were competitively priced although not the cheapest quote. The technichian was knowledgeable, punctual and answered all of my questions. Now our chimney is repaired and in addition to keeping the rain out, looks amazing! We are very happy.

I wanted to review the company on the ease of scheduling and their overall helpfulness and assurance. We bought a new house and we weren't sure the condition of the chimney (we are first time homebuyers and new to all of this). I called a few companies and was about to pay $189 just for the inspection to see the condition of our chimney. After that I called Chimney Concepts. They told me it would be FREE for them to come check the condition and give us an estimate if any cleaning was necessary. I scheduled the free estimate for the next day. Dan came to our house promptly and took a look in the chimney. We were extremely reassured when he said it was a VERY clean chimney and nothing needed to be done. We will definitely be using their services again when needed.

We hired Chimney Concepts to provide a chimney inspection on a home we were trying to purchase. We, along with the homeowners and all of the realtors waited for 90 minutes and Chimney Concepts did not show up. We called their office and there was no answer. Shortly there after we called again and were informed that they could no longer come. Their delay pushed back the purchase of the house, and wasted many man-hours waiting around for them. I would certainly not count on them. Very poor experience!

While we prefer to shop locally when possible, and while everyone at Chimney Concepts was very nice, Iwe unfortunately are not able to recommend them. Long (and very time-consuming) story short, their lack of communication about parts arriving, work needed on parts, etc., was very frustrating...they could have just called us when things were in rather than waiting many weeks for us to call or come into the store. We ordered our gas chimney in October and finally got it going the week before Christmas. When we FINALLY gave up on CC taking care of things and ourselves sent a part to be replaced, we were told by the supplier in Indiana that CHIMNEY CONCEPTS HAD REPLACED SOME OF THE ORIGINAL PARTS WITH CHEAPER PARTS!!! The supplier took pity on us and fixed the cheaper parts so that they would work with his parts. He said they still may not work and offered to help us if they broke down in the future. He was upset that Chimney Concepts had done this because, of course, if the unit failed the customer would think that his unit was faulty when actually it would have been the CHEAP PARTS that failed. We were not told that parts had been replaced.....I guess they do not need to tell us that technically, but we feel ethically it is not right.
