This is my first time dining in and the food was Mouthwatering. You ever come here you’ve gotta try the Szechuan Dumplings. The honey crispy shrimp and the Chinese chicken salad!!! Everything we ordered was amazing!! Love this place!! Service was amazing!!!!!! Definitely a 10/10!!
Really pleasant dinner tonight. Peanut noodles and spare ribs were delicious. Great portions and the prices were low for Brentwood. Our server Jesse was nice. The place has a chill vibe I’m coming back for sure
Not worthy of one star! Gave this location another try after a bad experience 2 years ago. Used to frequent this Chin Chins for over twenty years. Went last night and waited 15 minutes before I finally got up and told manager in training Garrett that we had not been acknowledged whatsoever and we were ready to order. Finally David the waiter took our salad order and never returned or looked our way. Apparently Garrett took over and showed concern about our experience. Our soup was barely warm and my orange chicken was not cooked as requested. Sent it back and it came back exactly the same only in a smaller portion. I again told Garrett that my dinner was missing the cashews I requested and there were hardly any onions. The fried rice wad cold and peas still frozen, brown rice was cold too. I asked for caramelized vegetables and each time it came back the same and cold as if nothing was done at all. At this point my son had already completed his meal as I was still waiting for mine. I overheard a woman at the table next to us saying that her cashews were missing also and that she had been going to this location for 30 years and things have declined greatly. Garrett asked if I wanted to send back a third time, I was so frustrated that I just asked for take out boxes. He brought me a plate of raw onions and some cashews. Picture attached It was so insulting at this point!! . Perhaps they need more servers. This was a small dining room and the staff couldn't handle it. The carpet is absolutely filthy also! I see the repetitive copy paste response from management, yet nothing improves as others are saying the same. High prices, less quality and quantity. David is an awful server and should not be working in the food, customer service industry! Thank you Garrett for trying, but there is so much improvement needed here. Won't be back!...
This place is cute! The fried rice tastes weird/too salty. Soup was not hot. Service was spotty. There weren’t that many people here, and it took a while for get a napkin and have waters refilled. Spring rolls were pretty bomb though!! I’d come here again and get something different.
Ordered takeout/pickup. One of the soups was cold. Beef broccoli was entirely missing. My wife and I tried calling afterwards for 2 hours intermittently and of course there was no answer. Had to feed kids so couldn’t drive back…so I guess we are stuck with a bill for food we didn’t get.
Ordered from them directly online, as this is their preference. The order took about 2 hours to be delivered. There's no take out food in the world worth 2 hour wait. Their prices are quite expensive, as well, for what you get. Edit; Nice response, Chin Chin. The problem was absolutely not with Door Dash. The poor delivery guy sat for over an hour waiting for your restaurant to finish the order. Shame on you for not taking responsibility.
There are many better choices nearby. Terrible service, we had to rush a member of our party to the hospital after clearly advising them of a food allergy when we ordered. Best to just choose other places. Dietary restrictions: If you are allergic to anything, AVOID this place. We had to rush to the hospital when we discovered they use oyster sauce in their dumplings. The 1 star is because we specifically called out the allergy when ordering, and they failed to tell us until one in the party asked "are you SURE?" They checked with the chef and came back with correct info, at which point we had to rush to the hospital. We still paid more than $200 for 6 people, even after this incident. There are many better, cheaper choices nearby.
Usually our go to for take out but not anymore. Not sure what happened but food was not worth going back. Even the famous Chinese chicken salad fell flat. Panda Express would have been better and cheaper. Very disappointed.
The best lunch combo deals! Great portions for the price! Our server Jessie and the manager Roxanne were attentive and friendly.
NO SATURDAYS NIGHTS we love chin chin especially Las Vegas location, we go very often to ventura blvd at studio City location. we always go during the week and the food has been amazing but today we went Saturday at 6:30 pm and the food was NOT good at all, because maybe was busy, ‍ but we decided no more "Saturday nights."Tha fried rice, was a big pieces of white rice nothing like fried rice, my Lo mean it didn't have the slightest flavor of anything, at all that I returned it, my husband ordered a kau pao and compared to Panda Xpress's, Panda's was better and it's his favorite dish in chin chin we left very disappointed ‍
