Story

The China Clipper Inn, located in the heart of Ouray, Colorado, boasts thirteen rooms and provides elegant and luxurious lodging accommodations. Built from scratch in the 1990's and opened in 1995, the China Clipper Inn, was designed to emulate it's historic neighbors and retain the architectural vintage and character of the town. With fine mountain views from most rooms, the China Clipper Inn offers all the intimate amenities of an inn and the conveniences and privacy of a fine hotel.

My boyfriend and I loved our stay at the China Clipper Inn. Our room was very comfortable and clean. Pam was an amazing hostess. She offered us info about places to visit around Ouray, and her breakfast was amazing. We loved her homemade muffins!! Would highly recommend staying at this bed & breakfast!

Pricey, but classy, clean, comfortable, friendly, and well-situated. Wonderful hostess, excellent breakfasts.

The China Clipper Inn was an absolutely wonderful, adorable place to stay while we were in Ouray. We were smitten with the variety of wallpapers and the detail everywhere you looked. There was a hot tub that was clean and convenient to use as well. Pam was a lovely host who is knowledgeable about the area and incredibly helpful with tips about what to do and where to eat. The breakfast food was amazing, and there were plenty of vegetarian options. The atmosphere, staff, and overall experience made this B&B absolutely worth the extra money compared to a standard hotel.

Exceptional B&B with very accomplished hosts Hans owns a new restaurant in town that is exceptional. His wife cooks the most fantastic breakfast (how does she get the eggs so fluffy)? The place is spotless and the rooms were comfortable and quiet and well appointed They were very helpful with places to go and things to do. We felt very welcome and would come back! Prices were reasonable for what we experienced!
