This unassuming restaurant has very repeatable quality. There is also some Japanese and Thai there. I order something different often because I know it's made right. I do add a little cayenne, to adjust the heat level. They even do calamari right.
Went for their daily luncheon specials. Very good deal…soup and entree. Very tasty American Chinese food out in the burbs. Not like Chinatown but fills the bill.
Terrific value for lunch specials. Hot and sour soup was so good my buddy and I each got an extra bowl. Dozens of lunch options from which to choose. My third time here and I will be back.Food: 4/5
Never been here before all the years I worked in North Reading. We had good service, speedy food order and the food was really good and well priced. My only issue was when we got the bill. They charged us a "COV19 CLEANING CHARGE" like what? What are they doing after we leave? Bringing in a team to pressure wash the booth? I'm pretty sure they are just whiping the booth and table down. But isn't that something that should be done after someone leaves a restaurant anyways? Idk I've never worked in the food industry so maybe I'm wrong. Anyways, I thought that was strange. Regardless of that, food was good and we will most likely be back again. I would recommend.
Did an online order and was told it would take 20 mins. Reached after 20 mins and they had not even che ked the online ordering system. Had to wait another 20 mins to get the order. Tried a few lunch specials for the family. The beef in the dish, had no flavor. The wonton soup broth also had no flavor. Tge wontons however were good. In all the kung pao chicken was the only one with some flavor. Over all the food and experience was below average expectations from a well rated spot.
ordered the wonton soup but definitely got something different still wasnt bad. was given a little bit of trouble trying to order a beer was told they dont take new hampshire drivers licenses. wanted to order the steak but was told they were no longer doing it, wound up getting the general gaus combo plate w pfr boneless spare ribs and egg roll. general gaus was fairly spicy but still tolerable. rice was par for the course as chinese around here goes. spare ribs were a little thin/tender for my liking but could just be that im used to subpar spare ribs from my local chinese places. egg roll was decent. overall not a bad experience and a worthwhile one for the price 25 total including tip and tax.
This place has some of the best food Around I don't want to tell anyone because it's never that busy and I like it that wayFood: 5/5
Had the sushi here it was pretty good fresh not many people there when I was there so I was in and out fairly quickly.
Was christmas eve and they were obviously a bit understaffed. While service was a bit slow, given the circumstance it was fine. Food and drinks were on par and still had a great time!Food: 4/5
Food was average for a Chinese restaurant, but the staff were very nice people! Pricing was normal and the environment was also comfy.
