I've been a customer for years first time going back in about probably 10 . The chicken wings was still hot in gigantic and tasty the egg rolls crispy very tasty very warm. The issue this time I felt extremely rushed in and out of it . Have the shrouds of plastic like it was April and May 2020 covid even when I walk back in my food was on a desk or table here picking up there it was just all so strange and surreal. But again the food was great so who knows
Been going here since the two sons were in elementary school. They are all grown up and the food is still good!Food: 5/5
Walked into the restaurant and wasn't greeted with a hello! Wasn't inside for more than 15 seconds and was hit with a demand of "get a mask, on the table" If that is how you are going to greet customers then I am going elsewhere.
Extremely rude woman and man at front counter. I made an order and went to pick and was immediately yelled at to put a mask on. No problem. I put one on as I had one in my pocket. Simple mistake. The woman continued to yell at me saying she just talked to me on the phone about this which was not the case. She mistook me as someone else and even when the misunderstanding was cleared they continued to shout. The man in the back came up standing behind her with arms crossed as she yelled to add to the intimidation. As a woman of color I cannot recommend this place as I felt a victim of prejudice. I didn’t argue just walk out and left my order bewildered. I will never go here again and I hope nobody else has to go through that.
Worst Chinese food ever was dried and tasted awful when in for lunch then was rushed to order something never again
Like their food for the most part and portions are generous but be aware that for platters that include egg roll, you don't get egg roll. You get a spring roll. Just tried to place an order. Phone rang for 2 full minutes before connecting. Got a carrier tone like a fax machine. Double checked to make sure I dialed the right number. I did. Online, the first available pickup time was nearly 2 hours. Nope. I'll use one of the zillion other Asian restaurants within 1/2 mile of Quincy Jade.
The woman said they no long carry eggplant. I said eggplant was still on the menu. She told me they had a new menu. I said I was looking at the new menu. She got mad and said, "we got our new menu 2 days ago, how can you have the new menu?" I just hung up the phone. Here's the irony: when I picked up food from this place two weeks ago, this same woman told me to take one of their "new menu" and had "155 Eggplant in Garlic Sauce" under vegetables. So how often do you guys update your menu? Everyday? I am sick of your altitude and "new menu" bs so I will just throw your menu into the trash and pick up food from another restaurant.
literally the worst chinese food i ever had ! and that's saying a lot as you can probably call me a Chinese food connoisseur I've been to dozens if not pushing 100 Chinese restaurants this is worst not only out of the poor taste and food but also out of the desperation of them to be cheap to their custoomers. and nickel and dime everything!! imaginable.
Do NOT go here. They are absolutely disgusting and they don't take food cleanliness serious. I literally saw the lady working at the register clean the toilet with NO GLOVES, then she proceeded into the kitchen. She had the door in the bathroom wide open. It didn't look like she even washed her hands. They don't wear gloves in the kitchen and they prepare their food in the dining area where people are supposed to eat. Customers should not be able to openly see them prepare food on the tables people eat on. I don't understand why they're not preparing their food in the kitchen. I asked for my money back after I seen the whole toilet situation. Gross.
Long time satisfied customer of China Jade. There are many choices for Chinese food in Quincy. Some restaurants are larger, some flashier. None serve the level of freshness or quality that China Jade has for years & years. Their food simply looks & tastes better than their competition. We feel good about frequenting a small family owned & operated local business. Having watched their sons grow from childhood to adulthood expresses how long we have been satisfied customers. At this moment when businesses are struggling to survive. I hope others will enjoy some excellent take out from a hard working local family owned and operated business.
