The Chicken Lo Mein had very little flavor to it. The chicken in it was quite oily and tasted off. The Seaseme Chicken was essentially soggy with all the sauce which caused the breading to become mushy. We ate it right when it came too. The sauce taste like ketchup and soy sauce.  I love Chinese food and this is the worst Seaseme Chicken I have had.  The Crab Rangoons were okay though and the Eggdrop Soup was good. But it wasnt worth $60.

WAYYYYY OVERPRICED NOW!!! Portions are much smaller and  prices have almost doubled. The food is not what it used to be. Large Egg drop soup is now $4.50?!! Combo plates are about half the size they were and over 50% more. The restaurant is dirty and still adorned with plastic sheeting over entire dine in area since Covid I guess. This place has really gone down hill. Used to be our go to, now, will not go back. I get inflation, but this is beyond. I can go somewhere and sit down with a nice atmosphere and pay the same as what they are charging with bigger portions and better food. So disappointed in this place. If they don’t do something different, I don’t see this place surviving, especially when there are so many other options.

Everyone has a preference on Chinese food, and I love this place! I've been getting takeout from here for 8+ years The soups are all great, and if you let them know that you want a dish to be "very, very, exta spicy," they're willing to load it UP! The family that runs the restaurant seem like wonderful people, and they are very fast and polite.

The customer mer service was terrible, the girl at the counter was rude and acted like we were inconveniencing her by ordering food. The generals chicken had almost no chicken, it was just breading with sauce and tasted absolutely horrible. The fried rice was just white rice with soy sauce, I will be going back asking for a refund it was so disgusting my daughter spit the generals chicken out of her mouth gagging. I thought she was being dramatic until I looked at it and found there was no chicken. Would not recommend, 0 stars. I think the good reviews are probably fake because anyone that tasted this generals wouldn't call it food.

I haven't lived in Blue Springs for 10-15 years, but when I did I ordered here regularly and LOVED it.  I was never disappointed.  Last weekend, I was in town visiting and Chinese was brought up.  I asked if China Kitchen was still open, was told it was and they never order from anywhere else.  I called them up, placed the order a pretty large order and went to get it.  The crab rangoon was exactly as I remembered, DELICIOUS!  I actually eat the whole piece instead of breaking off the overly crunchy ends and tossing them in the trash, like I do with every other place.  The orange chicken has the best orange flavor, even heated up as leftovers the next day.  I would move back to Blue Springs just to be close to China Kitchen again, if I could.  I didn't rate the atmosphere because it's carry out only.

Ordered off of Uber eats, was eating my food and noticed it had a gritty texture almost like eating sand, I examined my food closer and saw a bunch of little black hairs in it. Immediately threw up. I'm assuming that my food fell somewhere and they just scooped it up and sent it out. Disgusted beyond belief. It came in a stapled brown bag with a plastic bag on the outside, no way it was the Uber driver. So messed up.

Maybe I’ve gotten lucky every time I’ve gone. But my siblings and I ordered here since Middle school and High school when we had money to spare. They’ve been pretty good and yes, there have been times where it hasn’t been up to our expectations. Over the years they have done quite a good job and I will still continue to do business here when a cheat day allows.

I  got dinner delivered to my hotel, I'm definitely not going hungry tonight!!!  The food tastes even better than it looks! I'd wholeheartedly recommend this place if you want great Chinese food rather than just another buffet.

The most orangy orange chicken I've ever had. I love the onions in the fried rice! Yum!Food: 5/5
