I think their food is overpriced. How is it $23 for a steak bowl and a Coke where the bowl barely has any steak? How convenient that the fountain soda machine is not in service so you have no choice but to buy a $4 bottle of Coke. It's not a sit down restaurant with quality food and waiter service. I will never make that mistake again.
I have it on good authority have looked staff members in the eyes countless times that every worker here would take intense satisfaction in killing me. Little do they know that it is their hatred and not their burritos that keeps me coming back time and time again. They live in a hell of their own making
General area outside the restaurant is dirty and constantly surrounded by homeless people. Tried the location twice and both times they've given me the smallest portions I've ever seen. As a Chipotle regular, I can say this is one of the most disappointing locations and would not go here again. The food barely fills 1/3 of the bowl and there are like 6 pieces of chicken.
This location in Kips Bay has recently become my favorite location. It's clean, not as crowded at least the times I've been in. The food is delicious. The staff friendly. Vegetarian options: I love meat. I see they're adding a good vegetarian selection
Always delayed in online pickups. ALWAYS. I'm talking about 15/20 minutes for 2 quesadillas. When they are "ready" this is what they give you... Only one out of the three sides that you paid for. And they will not give you anything that is more expensive than the sides that you paid and they ran out of. The worst, is that we realized that there was missing stuff just because we reviewed the order.
Sometimes very consistent, other times not so much. Very consistent and easy when it’s not “busy”, but when it’s “busy” expect a lot of incorrect orders and slow waiting times. Overall, I’ve been going here for over 5 years and it’s not all that bad.
Horrible place. Doing a kid's meal build your own choice of meat, quesdillo or queso and 2 sides plus 2 taco shells and chip and drink. Since there are no signs telling you what each tray holds. I picked steak, roasted peppers and onions and something that looked like couscous. As it was getting plate a large woman told the server that what I had would be extra. She didn't tell me, the person who was placing the order. Now they were trying to wrap it up and I'm trying to get them to take off the additional costing item. No one is listening, this went on for at least 20 seconds, finally one guy decides to listen I ask him to take off the additional cost item. And I ask, as per the sign, what is the 2 sides I can get? He says rice, okay let me have the rice. All this because they were not communicating with the customer, ME. I had choices of where I wanted to get lunch. In the future it will NOT be Chipotle, not even for a sip of water and I was dehydrated and almost passing out.
The door says that they open at 1045am. The workers was still cooking and prepping at 1052am. My lunch hour was wasted. No urgency was used to help me once I stated I was on a break.
Very poorly managed location. Have been in multiple times while it's busy and while it's slow, the crew always acts like they're annoyed when taking your order or checking you out. At least twice they've said they "didn't have limes" because they didn't feel like cutting them - Chipotle never runs out of limes! The last time we went, the workers stacked all the chairs an hour and a half before closing to deter people from coming in. The owner should employ better managers and a more friendly crew.
Horrible experience with rude staff. The pick up order area is a mess and absolute No Man's Land. There's no orderly fashion whatsoever and staff are slow to get to customers who cut in front of one another. After waiting *15* minutes to finally get my order I asked the staff member if it's always this disorganized. She didn't respond so I asked again and all she could do was shrug her shoulders and say "we're busy". Something told me to look in the bag before leaving and I see they forgot my drink. I go back to let them know. The staff member made sure to take their sweet time grabbing the drink and I say "this isn't a good showing tonight". Then another staff member comes over and starts yelling at me about how busy they are and how I shouldn't expect quick service. I tried talking to her but she just kept yelling. Finally I asked for her name which she refused to provide. I wouldn't return to this store if the sap who "manages" these people personally contacted me, apologized and paid me. This Chipotle isn't a good representation of what the brand is capable of. Features: None observed
