I had lost a diamond in my wedding ring and needed it replaced. I saw Chippers and after reading good reviews online I decided to stop by. The store is larger than it looks outside. I was quickly met by friendly staff and after a few minutes I had an estimate to not only replace my diamond, but to fix my loose prongs so I wouldn’t lose anymore. My ring was ready as promised and it looks brand new. I’m very happy with Chippers. They also have lovely jewelry, reasonably priced.

I needed a ring rhodium plated so I took it to Chippers. They said they could do it but since my other rings has rubbed the side they would need to buff the scratches out. I said that was fine. He charged me for the rhodium dip and to have it buffed. Total bill was right around $100. When I went to pick my ring up a week later it had a large black spot on it that wouldn't rub off. So, they had to dip it again. Waited an additional three days for the second dip. When they called me to pick up the second time I was so excited to have my ring back i didn't inspect it like i should have. About a month later (Right now, that's why I'm writing this) the ring has lost the plating on the under side of the ring. The rhodium has been flaking for the past week, and the scratches they were supposed to buff out are still present. I have had this same ring dipped twice before from other reputable jewelers and never had these problems. The rhodium dip at other places also last a year or more and are far less expensive than this place. I'm super disappointed that I have to have this service redone elsewhere when I already paid a "professional" to have it done. I will NOT recommend.

I highly recommend the jewelry store Chipper's in Bonney Lake and its staff.  The store offers something for everyone.  Just as there is a large selection ranging from classical to modern designs, the pricing goes from modest to extravagant as well. I particularly like the personalized approach the staff offers.  Over the last few months, I've interacted with most employees but most of all with Franz.  The main project he helped me with was a lovely set of pearl earrings that I purchased at Chipper's but wanted modified. Franz was knowledgeable, attentive to my wishes & diligent about researching and keeping me in the "loop".  I picked up my gorgeous, customized pearl earrings today and couldn't be happier.  Thank you, Franz, and thank you Chipper's.  It's a pleasure to do business with you, and I will definitely be back!

I love love love this family run jewellers! I can't sing their praises enough. LaDonna spent an incredible amount of time researching for me for best options regarding some family heirloom jewelry. The ring restored by their goldsmith is so gorgeous it brought tears to my eyes. Next project is to have Christopher (one of the brothers) design a ring using a prior wedding ring that will rsflect the past, present, and future. This ring will be able to be passed down to both my girls as the design will allow it to be separated. So excited to start this project. Highly recommend this company for all your jewelry needs. They treat each customer like family.
