They do good work
8 years ago (04-02-2017)
On April 1, 2014, my son was involved in an accident. There was front end damage to his 2001 Nissan Frontier Pick-up. I called Chris's Auto Body to see if they would be able to repair the vehicle. The person I talked to asked if it can be driven. I said no, there is engine coolant leaking. They suggested that they send a tow truck to retrieve the vehicle. I then drove to Chris's Auto and left the keys with the person in the office. I again reminded her that the vehicle could not be driven because of the leaking coolant. Terrie, the owner, called me on Wednesday, the 2nd and gave me an estimate. I accepted the estimate. Terrie said the vehicle would be ready sometime late the next week. I received a phone call Wednesday, 9th, from Terrie informing me that they had found a coolant leak. I reminded her that I informed Chris's Auto Body that the vehicle had a coolant leak. She denied that they had received any notice of the coolant leak. It is my opinion they did not give an estimate to repair the coolant leak in order to submit a lower estimate. By not informing myself of the cost to repair the coolant leak this increased the estimate roughly $250.00. Terrie called me on Thursday morning and informed me the vehicle would be ready that afternoon but later that afternoon she called again and said that was not possible. She then said the vehicle would definitely be ready late Friday (11th) afternoon. When I went to retrieve the vehicle there was a part missing from the radiator. The employee that I spoke to when I noticed the part missing first said the missing part was missing from the radiator when they got the vehicle, then he changed his mind and said it was on back order. I asked him if he was a supervisor or management. I asked if there was a supervisor or manager on duty. He said no. I informed the employee that I would not accept the vehicle with incomplete work. On Monday, the 14th, there was a message left on my voicemail by Terrie that my vehicle must be retrieved that day or I would be charged a daily storage fee. I went to pick up the vehicle and asked to speak to a supervisor or manager. Again, there was none available. I paid the repair cost and retrieved the vehicle. After I left, I noticed that the left front turn signal was not operating. This was a turn signal that was just replaced by Chris’ Auto. It was obvious that the turn signal was never tested. I returned to the business and requested immediate repair and to speak to a supervisor, manager, or owner. I was again told there was no supervisor, or manager on duty. While Chris’ Auto was repairing the turn signal I noticed that there were parts missing from the front bumper that should have been installed when they replaced the bumper. I then noticed that they had installed a bumper that was a different color than the original without notifying me. This is the worst customer service, the most unprofessional and incompetent business I have ever had the bad luck to experience. Chris’s Auto refused to even offer an apology or acknowledgement they made mistakes in repairing our vehicle.
