Story

We're on a journey of following Jesus Christ together. We strive for and envision a strong, loving, Bible-based, Christ-centered, Gospel-focused, Spirit-empowered, grace-filled, worshipping community of believers who have a healthy and growing relationship with God and each other. Together, our mission is to boldly share the Good News of Jesus Christ with the world by the power of the Holy Spirit for the glory of God. Our desire is to see our Biblically-based mission, core practices, and core values lived out in the life of each person at Christ Community Church. A church that lives the Great Commandment (loving God and loving people, Matt. 22:37-40) and follows the Great Commission (making disciples of all nations, Matt. 28:19-20) makes a great Church!

Mission

To fulfill Jesus’ Great Commission, which is to be a Biblical community that proclaims God’s Word in order to multiply fully devoted and fully developing followers of Jesus Christ throughout the world. (Matt. 28:18-20; Rom. 12:1-8; Eph. 4; Heb 5:12-6:3; 2 Pet. 3:18; Phil. 3; Titus 2:11-14; Luke 24; Acts 1-2).
In short, the mission of the church is to make disciple-makers.

I found the minister,Eric extremely positive and encouraging! And the church teachings stick to the Scriptures rather than man-made opinions which is very important to gain accurate knowledge (John 17:3)! Our faith has been really strengthened from the excellent sermons and we love the music,a great large choir and  at Christmas time a super FESTIVAL OF CAROLS performance,with a nice production that is very uplifting and entertaining to enjoy the holidays! The only shortcomings that hurts is the fact that the church is too BIG to get to know people for fellowship...people don't stay and ...TAKE THE TIME, ...to talk,introduce themselves,but instead,too many leave right away. Too busy?However,with over 1,000 members that tends to happen,(human nature to have "clicks", of a few friends and not "widen out in our love" as Jesus and the apostle Paul taught ( John 13:34,35). The in -home community groups are always too full for new members,sad to say...
As Christians,we all need REMINDERS,
to heed Christ's Command to love one another,as even He loves us! I hope the body takes the counsel to stop and reach out to the widow and orphan,the single and empty-nest couples,those with no family to fill the empty void in their hearts -for friends who really care!!! Then Christ Community Church will show more "community" in their spirit to prosper and grow! Overall, my wife and I do like this church very much and recommend it to all new folks to come join us in joyful worship!

I am not sure why this church has public events if their parishioners are going to be  rude to their visitors. It is a very cliquish church and unless you have attended for several years, you will not be welcomed.

I’ve gone for approximately 10 years And I’ve learned that it is an amazing church family! Where we can all connect to God through paster Eric naus sermons. You can feel God’s  presence shining through the people. A great youth session as well! #fellowship #jesusloves

The church is not a very welcoming establishment. Very disappointed. My only suggestion is that your children’s ministry pastor take a class on tact and decorum.

The number of Caucasian people at this church is a bit disconcerting. They were outwardly rude to my Hispanic wife and half Hispanic children. I feel that had they been Caucasian this issue would have been handled in an entirely different way. Considering they had 2 contact numbers and our mailing address, they could have contacted us and avoided making my children cry. "Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these" Luke 18:16.
