Story

We are traditional, but not boring...
Our worship is liturgical, orderly, and vigorous. Worship is not what the minister does, but what the people of God do. The minister leads in worship, and the whole congregation, young and old alike sing, pray, hear the Scriptures, and feast on Bread and Wine in the Lord’s Supper.


❦ We are contemporary, but not trendy...
You can’t get more contemporary than the Word of God..it is new every morning! That is why our worship is saturated with Holy Scripture. That is why all our teaching focuses on what God says, not what the latest cultural trend or fad says is “popular”.


❦ We are Reformed, but not exclusive...
“Reformed” means the biblical teachings that were restored to the Church during the period of history called the Great Reformation. Although we gladly hold to these teachings, the Reformers didn’t speak to every issue, whereas the Bible does. And so the Bible is our guide for every question in life.

❦ We are Catholic, but not Roman...
The word “catholic” simply means universal. And we believe that the Lord Jesus Christ is building His universal Church throughout the world. We are catholic because we are grateful for the blessings of the Church and her history, and the teachings that have passed down to us.


✜ We are old and new, joyful and serious.
✜ We love to worship Almighty God, the Maker of heaven and earth.
✜ We love to sing psalms and hymns of praise to God with thankful hearts.
✜ We love to hear the Word of God, the Bible, read and preached.
✜ We love to celebrate the Lord’s Supper with bread and wine each week.
✜ We love to fellowship with other Christians, those who love the Lord Jesus Christ, our Savior.
