DO NOT USE THIS PLACE! They were very good at first and did help me win my case... but... When I hired them we agreed to 25% of my award if I win or $6000, whichever was less. So I won, the court auto withholds 25% (over 12,000), pays the lawyer their amount (should have been 6k) then is supposed to pay me the rest. The problem started when my lawyer died during my two year case. Someone else in their firm took over and I was told nothing would change. Well the courts rejected their payment due to technicality of the original lawyer dying. The new lawyer then AFTER my case was won filed to keep the entire 12k that had been withheld instead of the 6K I had agreed to!!!! They are saying it is legal since my original contract is with the dead lawyer is voided, but to me that is a huge breach of ethics when they know I had agreed to 6K. KEEP IN MIND THEY INVOICED ME FOR 9.5 hours TOTAL!!! for the whole case. they really want to gouge me for 12k when I had agreed with the original lawyer for 6K when they only did 9.5 hours of work. They have now told me to hire a second lawyer if I want to fight them for MY money they are screwing me on. DO NOT USE THEM! I would understand if the payment issue was due to one of my mistakes, then they should recover more for their time. But, This was in no way my fault. THEIR guy died, and the courts are causing the issue. I fulfilled my obligations. I even contacted the lawyer after he originally filed to get the whole 12k, and we agreed verbally over the phone that if I won it all I would still pay him 6k, and if he won he would only keep 6k and send me the rest, and promised to mail a new contract. Instead over a week later I got a letter saying never mind, we changed our minds and no longer represent you, hire a new lawyer to fight us. AVOID THEM!
