Water heater problem...pilot light kept going out.  They cleaned the screen and removed some lint inside the unit.  Pilot stayed lit for a few days then went out.  I found that if I blew out the dust with compressed air, the pilot would stay lit for a few days, but always went out again.  They replaced the thermocouple, trying to determine the source of the problem...but the pilot was out again the next night (around 8 PM).  And I thought I smelled gas.  Called them and they were there within 20 minutes. Turned out there were no leaks but they tightened all the connections again to be sure and we relit the pilot.  Well...next morning the pilot was out again.  The next step was the gas control box, but I wasn't ready to spend that kind of money on a 12 year old water heater.  They replaced the water heater with a new unit today.  Prices were comparable (maybe even a little less) to other installations in the area that I researched.  I actually have more space in that corner of the garage with how they positioned it.

5 Stars for now...the unit was just installed.  4 trips to my house and I think they only charged me one service call charge.

$90 BUT I'M NOT SURE WHAT FOR...AC is not any better and technician did not install filters
provided just  5 feet away... NEVER AGAIN... GAVE 1 STAR ONLY BECAUSE IT IS REQUIRED TO POST...
