The Bible itself, as the inspired and infallible Word of God that speaks with final authority concerning truth, morality, and the proper conduct of mankind, is the sole and final source of all we believe. For the purpose of the Chardon church of Christ’s faith, doctrine, practice, policy, and discipline the Leadership of the congregation are the church’s final interpretive authority on the Bible’s meaning and application. The church membership is expected to act in accordance with the beliefs and practices of the Chardon church of Christ and are subject to Biblical discipline and the final authority of the Leadership of the congregation of the Chardon church of Christ. In any period of time whereas the Chardon church of Christ is absent of an eldership, the Leadership of the congregation will have the authority in all areas governing this document and all others, remaining within the statutes of the New Testament.
