Church of the Open Door, the historic non-denominational church established in 1915 was originally located in downtown Los Angeles and once Pastored by J. Vernon McGee of Thru the Bible Radio Ministries; current Senior Pastor is Ed Underwood.

This a place that I feel is like another home. People are so kind and caring for one another. Church of the Open Door has a Jr. High group, High-School group, and Live Wires(which is the group with 4th and 5th graders). They also have Men's Ministry and Women's Ministry for parents. I love this place.

I love COD so much because it's so inviting!

The people here, are very kind. The entire place is inviting, if you have children or other young people, there are Sunday school classes as well as the service, which features a hilarious pastor who always has the best demonstrations.
