Church On The Rock is made up of all different types of people from all different walks of life that share a common faith and love for Jesus. Our faith in Him brings us together as the Body of Christ. We have a saying here at Church On The Rock, "The first time you may be a guest, after that, you are family!" We worship together, share life together, minister together and grow together.
We are a Bible believing Church and are dedicated to delivering timeless truths based on God's Word, while ushering people into His presence through inspired praise and worship.
At Church On The Rock, we seek to unify the body of Christ by embracing diversity and challenging one another to take our unique place in ministry. Building a Church is not about putting up a nice building and hanging a cross on the front, it is about building lives.
With Jesus as our foundation, let's build something together!
Hungry? Thirsty?
Matthew 5:6 tells us "blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they will be filled. Every one of us gets hungry and thirsty, not just physically but spiritually. Spiritually, each of us hungers and thirsts for the righteousness of God. Our desire for more of God can not be satisfied by the things of the world. The world is fading, not filling. Our hunger and thirst for righteousness can only be satisfied by God as we worship, pray and study his word. But there is more..... as we come together for corporate worship, corporate prayer and corporate study there is so much more. When we come together we encourage each other, hold one another accountable, and tap into the power of unity.
The Bible tells us in Matthew 18:20 "For where two or three come together in my name, there am I with them."
That is what Church is about. Its about coming together in the name of Jesus. And as we come together (unified in our reason) we are confident of his presence. Our desire is to have our Worship services, programs, and ministries full of His presence. We are not here to seek the wisdom of man, we are not here to have good social programs, we are not here for a Christian concert. We are here to meet with God. For in him, we find all that we need. He is not AN answer
to the problems of life, he is THE Answer to every problem and need we will ever face.
In Hebrews 10:25-26 (New Living Translation) the Bible tells us " And let us not neglect our meeting together, as some people do, but encourage one another, especially now that the day of his return is drawing near." We invite you to join with us so we can encourage one another to become all that God has called us to be.
Consider Yourself Invited!

Our Beliefs
The one True God. The one True God has revealed Himself as the eternally Self-existent, Self-revealed "I AM," as Father, Son and Holy Ghost. Deuteronomy 6:4; Mark 12-29; Isaiah 43:10; Matthew 28:19.
Scriptures Inspired. The Bible is the inspired Word of God, a revelation from God to man, the infallible rule of faith and conduct. 2 Timothy 3:15-17; 1 Peter 1:23-25; Hebrews 4:12.
The Deity Of The Lord Jesus Christ. The Lord Jesus Christ is the Eternal Son of God. He is both divine and human. Luke 1:26-38; John 14:1-3; Acts 2:36; Acts 3:14-15; Philippians 2:5-12.
The Fall Of Man. Man was created good and upright, for God said, "Let us make man in our image, after our likeness," but man, by voluntary transgression, fell, and his only hope of redemption is in Jesus Christ, the Son of God. Genesis 1:26; Genesis 3:1-7; Romans 5:12-21.
Salvation. Through the work of the cross, our Lord and Savior made salvation available to each and every person. Salvation is found only in Jesus Christ. The primary work of the Holy Spirit is to draw the lost to Christ. Acts 4:12; John 14:6; John 12:32. The Bible tells us that Repentance is a condition to Salvation. Repentance means to turn from sin to God by faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. Acts 2:37-39; Acts 16:30-34. The evidence of Salvation is first recognized in the heart of a believer as the Holy Spirit bears witness. Romans 8:16. Evidence of Salvation is also found in the outward evidence found in the life of a follower of Christ. Salvation is not earned by works, however, salvation is displayed in the lives that we live.
Heaven and Hell. We believe the Scriptures clearly set forth the doctrines of eternal punishment of the lost and eternal reward for the saved - hell for the unsaved, and heaven for the saved. Matthew 25:34, 41, 46; Luke 16:19-31; Revelations 20:11-15.
The Separated Life. We believe that believers should seek, as the early disciples did, to practice the separated life from the world and unto Christ, and to set standards of conduct which shall exalt our Lord and His Church. Romans 12:1-3; Corinthians 6:17; Galatians 6:14; Ephesians 5:11; Colossians 3:17.
The Baptism Of The Holy Spirit. We believe the Holy Spirit to be the Third Person of the Trinity whose purpose, in the redemption of man, is to convict men of sin, regenerate the repentant believer, guide the believer into all truth, indwell and give gifts to believers as He wills, so that they may minister as Christ would to men. We believe that the manifestations of the Holy Spirit operate in present day churches that yield to the Lord Jesus Christ. Luke 11:13; John 7:37-39; John 14:16-17; Acts 2:39-48.
