I just have good things to say about this restaurant. So happy I found it. Our server was very friendly and attentive. They played really good instrumental music which i really liked. The food was delicious and they give you really big portions. I had lamb shank at many different restaurants but this was the best I have ever had. Try their bodrum cokertme kebab, red lentil soup and their baklava so good! I definitely will be coming back to try other things in the menu. Oh and it's BYOB so that's a plus!
Ok to be honest I love Cinar for it’s delish Turkish kebab but I have to say that their vegetarian doesn’t disappoint either. Their dip platter is too good and falafel are amazing with hummus. Also really liked roasted peppers and the salad! Above all, it’s in Livingston and it’s halal
If you're not in a rush and want quality FRESH food, you definitely should pull up a chair. Appetizers we had were Mediterranean salad, stuffed grape leaveshad a touch of cinnamon in them, mixed plattervery large, and the show stopper Cinar Borek. Dinner was Bodrum/chicken, Baby Okra/chicken, chicken shish, and the winner TURKISH DUMPLINGS. Everything was good-excellent and staff was friendly and laid back.
Hands down the BEST Mediterranean food I’ve ever had, everything is made to order, customer service was amazing. I wanted to take a picture of the rice pudding but we ate it too fast, Sooooo friggin good. If I lived near by, I would be in here everyday to be honest.Dine in: YesOutdoor seating: NoTakeout: Yes
Very delicious and unique items I never experienced before. Check out the menu and give it a try. I definitely recommend it. Great atmosphere for a family. The staff was very welcoming and accommodating. Me family and I will definitely return. Thank you. Vegetarian options: They have many vegetarian dishes. Kid-friendliness: They have chicken wings and chicken fingers for the kids.
Amazing food , Great Service and the place is BYOB. there are plenty of options for vegetarians and vegan. The chickpeas falafal balls are of good size and freshly made. Pita bread tasted good and was fresh, soft to go with Tahini and hummus. Chicken kababs are really well made as well. The portion size is big and justifies the price. Recommend making the reservation as it’s gets busy.
Wow just discovered this hidden gem or at least I think it's hidden because I never heard of it...but amazing food right in our neighborhood in Livingston - but looks like they got 2 more locations. We got the mixed kabob for two which came with Lamb shish, lamb meatballs, lamb adana, chicken shish and chicken adana and the portions were plenty ! Honestly one of the best Turkish food I had and that's coming from someone who lived a few blocks aways from ABA Turkish in NYC. I wasn't expecting much hence the food is half gone before I decided to take a picture : Definitely coming back here and highly recommend to anyone looking for good Turkish food.
My friend and I went for lunch to the newly opened Cinar in Livingston. The food was fresh, staff was friendly and welcoming and the space was very clean. So happy Cinar opened in our beautiful township of Livingston.
Ordered take out from Cinar for supper tonite. The owners and staff were welcoming and polite, and seemed genuinely willing to be helpful. We ordered five items, all of them delicious, but there are 2 in particular I’d like to recommend; first the okra. If I didn’t know any better, I would’ve sworn it was made in my mama’s kitchen, so authentic and homemade-like. Second were the stuffed peppers; we’re used to them being cooked with white rice and in a red sauce, in these however, the rice was browned, and it was served over a white sauce. So solid, we were fawning over our plates while we were eating, ha! I know I said 2, but I’ve got to give a shout out to the fried liver, crispy and creamy and yummy. Thanks guys for a perfect meal. We’re already looking forward to our next visit!
Very tasty! Great value. Good sized portions. Friendly staff. Free parking
