Very unprofessional all across the departments. Every neighborhood is unsafe... if you feel unsafe in one nwighaborhood, you'll have to put in a transfer only to move into another unsafe neighborhood! Properties are dirty, maintenance is slow and rude.

Horrible experience. I have been without a home for 6months because they allow slum lord's to rent dilapidated homes to tenants. My previous landlord Dana Crampton-Byrd rented me property that had horrible sewage and plumbing problems. Within the first 4moths I experienced a sewage back up in the basement which was the playroom. All my children's toys we're ruined. I went to CMHA and they did nothing. Took her months to "fix" the issue only for the same thing to happen again the next spring when it rained again. I decided to leave the home and I was kicked off section 8. I guess I was supposed to live in a dump where my water bill was 300-700 every three months. I filed for a hearing and they still gave me the boot. Talking about I didn't fix the necessary items. I guess it's my job as a tenant to fix the plumbing. The landlord illegally evicted me by changing the locks and they were ok with that. My experience with this whole program was horrible. They don't care about people. Just maintaining the cash flow. Now I'm a single homeless parent who can't find a place to live because me horrible ex landlord is giving me bad reviews. The irony. The thing that was supposed to help me only screwed me in the end.

The staff here does the best they can with what they have. Some of the process are thick with red tape. The place can sometimes be packed with clients and there children. Many of the clients often have unreasonable expectations, and will sometimes jam up the line in hopes it will cause their demands to be met. You will need to grab a receipt for any business you have before you get in line. Then bring it to the counter with you. They are on the left when you walk in.

Wow! Google you would have to come up with 0 star icons. I had never heard of this place. Some one that I know mention me about this place, even though this place got a review of 2.0 star I had to try to check. First time I called the lady not only put me in hold for a long time, she just pick the phone and said "Hey, please hold" . I hang up and called a second time. She pick up and hang up the phone. Ain't waisting my time there. -0⭐

Section 8 will not help you as a landlord if you have issues with a tenant. They never return calls or emails. I will not be a section 8 landlord here in Cincinnati again because of CMHA is so poorly ran. It needs new management.
