Words cannot express how much I love this place. The food and all the sweets are amazing. The prices are more than reasonable. I usually leave with at least one more meal worth of leftovers and at least one bag full of pan dulce, cake, flan, etc.

This review is for desserts only. We tried tres leches cake, mocha cake and mil hojas. They were all delicious. The server was very friendly and helpful, and answered my questions about the various desserts on display. I will go back to try the food.

The bread is good, but as with every latin country has their very own way and taste of making Pan dulce (sweet bread). Depending on what piece of bread you get, some can be a bit dry, non-moist. The Horchata is mexican style, it's sweet, milk and cinnamon flavored drink made out of rice flour. When it comes to their 3-Leches cakes they really know how to throw it down, by far the best in the DMV area. The food is authentic mexican, served with non hand made tortillas but the usual flat thin styled, with your choice of meats, Carne asada, Chorizo, grilled chicken, Beef tongue, or Shrimp served with slices of Cactus, (nopales), onions, tomatoe and their home made sauce for their homemade tortilla chips. They also make a mildly-hot red chile sauce and an even Hot Green chile sauce. Drinks are a variety of mexican/and latin american known brand drinks; i.e. Coconut juice, Peñafiel, Jarritos, but also serve Coca-cola products. Overall a small about the size of a typical medium home sized living room with 5 booths (can seat 6, and 2 regular tables for 4 people.

My experience was amazing!  The pastry is phenomenal, the customer service is great.  I would suggest that you check it out for yourself.  We all have different taste so what may be good to me may not be good to you.  However, in my opinion, it's amazing!!!!
