Really really great prices, friendly staff, delicious food. I love the chimichanga, they have a large selection of different foods on the menu. Also they're very accommodating when we ask for tweaks in the menu I.e. adding scrambled eggs

VERY GOOD, fresh and authentic Mexican food. A Very friendly and welcoming gentleman took my takeout order. As a Black/African American Born and raised in New Brunswick, NJ, I have driven past this GEM countless times but TODAY was my first time dining. Stopped in quickly for takeout lunch because I was in the mood for GOOD pork tacos. Walked inside and immediately felt like I was in Mexico and I say that in a positive respect for the culture way. I immediately enjoyed the Very traditional atmosphere with locals enjoying lunch. Nothing fancy, just regular people enjoying GOOD authentic Mexican Food and there was a PLETHORA of selections on the menu. I can't wait to visit again and try new things.

New Reviee:  The service we received tonight was terrible. Placed an order on Grunhub. It said 15 minutes. We showed up in 30. Were told the order isn't ready yet. The girl said "10 to 15 minutes." In 15 minutes I came back inside. Order still wasn't ready. She asked me yo have a seat. 10 more minutes pass, I ask where is the order. The man says "we don't check the tablet". So why did you make me wait 25 minutes? He wants to take my order now. Also said he would be charging me extra because the prices we paid are too cheap.  They were helping all the Spanish speaking people but didn't care to leave me with no service for 25 minutes. Absolutely terrible. Meanwhile we paid 49 minutes ago on Grunhub.  I have been coming here for 15+ years. Never again.  ------- Old review:  You can't get this quality of food for any cheaper anywhere else. The prices here are sooo affordable!! The food is delicious. If you dine in, they bring out chips and a variety of salsa.  The place may look a little rundown on the outside. There isnt much parking. You walk in, and the atmosphere doesnt excite you. But leave all that behind, because the food is outstanding. Highly recommended.

To be fair I went there for a hardcore punk music show, not for the food. I had a good timeFood: 3/5

Very nice guys gave me a snack while I waited too

Stopped in to grab dinner to go on a Sunday evening. I had my puppy outside waiting with my husband, so I placed the order and the gentleman who took my order was very nice.  He let me try the watermelon drink which was very good and also brought some chips and salsa outside for us to enjoy while we waited for our order.  I ordered the smoked pork chops with fries and my husband ordered smoked pork chops with rice & beans and plantains. The portions are generous and the food was really delicious. I will definitely be ordering from this restaurant again! I’ll try a burrito next time!

This place is a New Brunswick classic. You gotta love it. Very popular. Ample portions, home cooking, welcoming people. Free parking-- no small thing in this city.Food: 4/5

Humble setup, but amazing food. Light on the wallet but strong on taste. Service is great too. If you like, you can choose to sit on the table with other patrons. It's totally normal here. I liked it. Loved chatting to other folks while we waited for our food was being prepared, while hogging on to delectable chips and salsa. Authentic Mexican taste. Must try it out!
