This is the hospital. It use to be very slow but they r getting better.

Mostly my stay was good. Doctors and nurses treated me with respect and showed concern with the exception of Dale on 3rd floor day shift. I'm in the process of filing a complaint against him today. The horrible things he said when he thought I couldn't hear him and how hateful he was with me.

Took wife to the Emergency Room, she had a huge not on her left side of back, and she had tightness and shortness of breath, she had pneumonia last year, same symptoms... We have been setting three ( 3) hours now....NITHJNG has been done

Bad experiences in the ER. The hospital was nasty. Trash overflowing out of can, debris on the floor. Some nurses extremely rude. We were one of the first customers early in the morning and still had to wait an unreasonable amount of time. My friend had to go to bathroom bad and could get noone to assist. I live in the area and was very surprized at how bad things were. I have used this hospital over the years, my wife worked there years ago. They should be ashamed.

Detractors may apply all the hater-ade in the world, but here's some truth: I showed up on a Saturday evening about 5 with a Rotten appendix, which was on the verge of rupturing, and before I got to the reception desk in the ER the clerk had me looked-up and registered. She started asking me questions as I slowly staggered into the waiting room. All of the nurses were more professional AND CARING than ones I've dealt with at two nice hospitals in Atlanta. (Piedmont Hospital and DeKalb Medical Center) My surgeon was a modern day Michaelangelo. All of the rooms have been remodeled and updated. The nurses on 3rd floor ROCK! This is a WONDERFUL small town hospital.
