Overview: Cute little spot that I highly recommend for brunch! Food: Got the pulled pork Benny which was fantastic! The avocado with the tender pork and eggs was a perfect match that I’ve never had before. Surprised me that I had to order bread on the side but would recommend getting the sourdough bread. What stood out for me was thru banana bread French toast - tastes as good as it sounds! Definitely get it. Drinks: Their mocha which was actually really good - so recommend. Space: The aesthetic of the place in a nice way took me out of New York. The space felt very fresh and contemporary- loved the decor. Value: Decently priced, can’t complain
Seating/vibe is okay, it’s pretty spacious overall in the restaurant but felt the tables were on the smaller side, but it is decorative. The menu is light on options, especially if you don’t eat pork options. Prices are very reasonable. Service was very good Got the banana French toast which is really good, but it’s more so banana bread with syrup than French toast. Also got the chicken harissa bowl which was very tasty and fresh. Overall, should try.
So the Banana bread is superb, the Belgian waffle is delicious. The ice Latte was better than the 3 upscale coffee shops we went to in the past 3 days. Polite service. What's not to like? Come here and enjoy.
There’s a few of these in the city but we came to the Soho one. We expected a wait but got pleasantly seated right away. I got the tea with oat milk, which was nice with the meal but I’d love to try the matcha latte next time. Between my sister and I, we shared the smashing avocado $15.50 + poached egg for $2.50 and the Belgian waffle $14.50. Both were solid breakfast dishes but nothing super special, especially for the price. However, their service here is super attentive and friendly. Such a good, chill vibe here so I wouldn’t mind returning to try other things. The total around $80 for 3 people.
TOTALLY RECOMMEND. I've been here once and the Chelsea location twice and I always find it a nice place to bring out-of-town friends. Everything is very pretty and tastes amazing. One thing though is that each dish is not very big so for three very hungry girls, we split four items and got crazy full from it, we had to play rock-paper-scissors to finish it. Breakdown of all the things I tried on the menu: -bbq brekkie bowl 5/5 Highly recommend. I was afraid the pulled pork would be too sweet but somehow it works rlly well -banana bread French toast 5/5 Omg this thing is amazing. I got it twice. I usually want something savory in the morning but I would still get this. -cast iron baked eggs 4/5 Flavors were amazing. Portion rather small. -cheddar biscuit breakfast sandwich 1/5 I'm from the south so I'm picky about my biscuits and THIS WAS NOT IT. Them things were rocks. -beef brisket hamburger My friend got this and idk if it's cuz I'm not THAT big on burgers, so it was p good to me but not anything amazing -fries with yuzu aioli Pretty solid, nothing too amazing I'd also be curious about some of their other sweet yogurt/granola bowls cuz the ppl next to us get them and they look amazing, but I'm more of a savory person
Stumbled in, literally, and the place was slammed. They were either over worked or under-staffed. Our waiter was not really attentive. Homie tried, but it wasn't enough for us to consider returning. Food was ok, but I'll give credit to the banana bread french toast, it's unique and interesting. My chicken sandwich was alright. Drinks were good and the cappuccino was meh. Honestly a pretty standard place with a bit of interior aesthetics.
quality brunch spot in soho tried their bbq braised pork and it was bomb! the plate consists of potato, bbq braised pork, avocado, pickled onion, and 2 eggs. every ingredient compliments one another so smoothly. the sauce is a nice mixer as well. my friend tried salmon eggs. i tried it last time and it was average, nothing too fancy but a great quality meal. all for ~$50 for 2 people.
The food and the service was just excellent. The place was pretty busy but the staff handled this flawlessly. The place has an exposed brick, plant and neon light aesthetic which feels very modern. Definitely try the BBQ Brekkie Bowl if you like pulled pork Vegetarian options: The place has plenty of vegetarian options
Absolutely amazing! The best place for breakfast/brunch in NYC! Amazing place with a great atmosphere and friendly staff, great coffee and unbelievable breakfast at a good price! Will definitely be back!
The staff was lovely, the food was so fresh and delicious, the coffee & matcha was delicious. We went in on a Saturday during brunch hours and there was no waiting time to sit or any delays with food or drinks. The decor is minimal yet cozy with plants bringing the whole cafe alive. Would most definitely recommend and will definitely be returning. Instagram: Simplysaidy
