Citizens State Bank has been serving the Clayton, Wisconsin area since 1907. Back then, our bank was a partner to farmers helping them purchase land and equipment, buying seed, livestock and saving their money. A lot has changed over the years, including adding a second location in downtown La Crosse in 2005, a third location in Onalaska in 2008, and opening a fourth office in Eau Claire in 2010. One thing that has not changed is the great service that we provide to our customers. Each employee takes pride in our mission to exceed our customer's expectations. My husband and I do not live in any of the areas that this friendly, professional, committed to us, their customer, bank, has locations, but have felt from day 1, like we were sitting beside them whenever we interacted with them. We have a relationship with Nick that we trust and are very thankful for! His reaction time and responses to us are similar to that of a family member or a longtime friend. And has been this way since the first time we met him. We have much respect for Dennis, the way he conducts business and the way he trusts small businesses like we own, to take risks to grow, by extending credit effortlessly and with minimal stipulations, proving that being valued by your bank can and does create bigger and better opportunities within a business. We owe much of the success of our business to the two men mentioned in this post. I highly recommend this bank for your needs, no matter where you live, they will make you feel like they are right beside you at any given time.

I have been banking with Citizens for over 12 years both personally & thru our business and I can honestly say their customer service, what they call The Citizens Experience, rivals the very best service you would receive anywhere. The whole organization lives up to their expectations and they all go out of their way to help you out. We have used Citizens for loans, savings, checking, & HSA accounts. They can do anything the big banks do--they just do it friendlier!

I have done business with this bank for 10 years. I have loans, checking, savings and credit cards throught this bank? Their level of customer service far exceeds anything I have seen in the past 40 years of banking experience. "All" of their employees treat you like family and make you feel like you are their most important client.

We've chosen Citizens for our home loan and multiple businesses loans. Service is fast and friendly. Tellers always use my first name.
