City+County is a Road and Gravel bike shop in San Francisco. We specialize in high end labor and custom builds. We also offer bike fits to maximize performance and enjoyment on the bike.

Saturdays are appointment only for one-on-one consults for bike builds or bike fitting.

Typical snob shop. I went in ready to purchase a SRAM E-Tap upgrade for my Cannondale. As I waited I looked at a bike fitted exactly with the system I wanted. As I was looking at the removable batteries, the sales guy looked up alarmed and shouted 'don't touch that bike!'  He was rude and alarmed - like the thing was made of glass. I must not have looked like a guy interested in a $3K upgrade. I'll buy elsewhere.

I came in for a bike fitting and left a very happy cyclist. 

I have always been a bit skeptical paying for a bike fitting - I mean I could do this myself, right? Wrong. I left with no doubt the time spent there was totally worth it. I didn't want to leave. Their whole crew looked at every detail of my ride - shoes, cleats, riding style, handlebars, seat, positioning, leg moves, posture, and style. I not only left feeling as if I had a totally new bike built just for me. I left a better cyclist. 

Plus, during the whole fit, they found a bad cable on my bike, which was about to snap and ended up saving my whole gear shifting system. That alone was a savings of over $400. 

Overall, one of the most satisfactory bike shop experiences I've had.
