I suppose the meter maids can’t walk all the way around vehicle to see that my vehicle has a visible parking pass hang tag, they wrote me a ticket. I came to the parking violations bureau the following morning to get things straightened out and the lady working inside was unhelpful and argumentative to the situation and said I “cant use the pass if I’m not the owner” — ITS A GUEST PASS!!!! No wonder they have a glass window. This place is the dumps, columbus meter maids are unhelpful and have a chip on their shoulder and from everyone I have come in contact with at the parking bureau does too. Good luck if you’re fighting a ticket — these folks aren’t here to help.

Received a ticket for parallel parking in PARKING SPOTS!!!! Call the number left on the ticket. No answer, what a suprise. Probably cause I was legally parked. How about trying to give tickets to cars that are actually illegally parked

I wish they would spend more time finding people that hit my truck and stole my handcap hanger verses just fining people that report the issue to them

I work in German village . I parked on the proper side this morning since there was street cleaning. You still had to find some reason to give someone a ticket for parking too close to a driveway which they could clearly pull out of. There was nowhere else to park. A ridiculous priced ticket for my "violation". I also went to pay ticket and they still haven't put it into the system for me to pay.

The $180 to get my pal out of Car Jail was obviously painful, but at least the impound lot didn't make it any harder than it needed to be. They seemed to be really well staffed, as there were lots of windows open and barely any wait. They were really nice both in person and over the phone, which is impressive considering they probably spend all day getting screamed at by entitled brats. I'm impressed by how organized everything was, too. After giving them the payment, I told the guy running the gate my license plate number and he had the row number within seconds. They make it really easy to find your car even in a lot that huge. My car was also in the exact same condition it was when they took it. Even everything on the inside was exactly as it was before, so whoever towed it must not have even jostled it around much at all. Though I'm pretty sure private companies tow for the city, so that might not be relevant. I'm obviously not happy about the money, but hey, that's what I get for not reading signs carefully enough. I'm just glad that the process of getting Sephiroth back was so much easier than I expected.
