We love it here. Not a ghetto place like independence. We haven't had any problems. We love that it's a white suburban area and not ghetto. Our son hasn't been bullied here and we can leave our cars running and doors unlocked without worrying someone's going to kidnap our children or do harm to us. In independence we had tweakers roaming around and here it's so peaceful and no crimes occur here. Our kids can play outside all day without worrying about kidnapping. Only one registered sex offender here in Lee's summit where we live. They don't tolerate crimes here.

My brother was visiting from Florida. We went down town for breakfast and shopping. My daughter got a ticket for parking 2:15. On a Monday with open parking spots all around. This is a sure way to run people away from downtown and out to the shopping malls. Seem short sighted to me.
