I was born and raised in Tecumseh and still live in the School district. I have always found the City Officials very professional, and they care about the residents of the city. 

The bad reviews on here have nothing to do with the City. The city cannot dictate to a business that they must return a call. And the police must follow a court order, even if they think it is not warranted.  It's a court order and must be followed, if they do not follow the court order, the officers can be thrown in jail.

Tecumseh is a great place to live, work, and raise a family. I wouldn't want to live anywhere else. Keep up the good work.

I've lived in Tecumseh for 40 years. Despite the job losses that so many small towns have suffered, Tecumseh is becoming more warm and livable. The parks and recs Department runs beautifully, the TCA has a lot of events, and the downtown restaurants and bars are very friendly and of high quality

I will give my experience in coming back to Tecumseh only 1 star. As a prior resident who took great pride in owning a  Historical home there on Chicago Blvd I was returning with such warmth in my heart to only come away with sadness and regret. Eager to visit family that still live there and wanting to spend money in town as a sign of support while revisiting I was unable to obtain a room at one of the "charming" suites located in town for lack of a return call, reluctantly booked a room at the Tecumseh Inn. There are not enough negative words to express that experience. My regret is now for the family that remain there that their officials are not preserving the charm that they advertise or working toward growth but creating a drive through city for racing loyalist.

Here is a good idea. Let's close all the major roads all at once so we can repair them. Why in God's name would you repave all major roads at once? That is the dumbest thing this city could possibly do. Other than making us pay for watering the grass. Instead of everything being closed for a number of weeks why don't you do one load at a time that takes a couple of days per Road? Stupid

And this is why America is going broke!!! The police waste resources and time to serve a warrant,  for a book that costs about 50 bucks to replace.. Ridiculous
The city of Tecumseh,Michigan should be effing embarrassed!!
