I recently had an appointment with Dr. Classen, and while there had dealings with 3 staff members.  All were professional and kind.  Dr. Classen was easy to talk to and very reassuring.

Well, I was in there for a possible detached retina and ended up not having one so I am very grateful for the exam. But I would agree with the lady from Port Alberni. I thought the staff were unfriendly and Dr. Klassen was not too friendly either. Possibly a very unhappy work culture there. I was just relieved to get out of there and on my merry way.

I've phoned Dr. Claasen's office twice now, and they've been very very rude.  I had my cataract surgery in 2007, I asked about the letter they sent me, saying I needed a follow up check up in 2015, I said yeah but YOUR OFFICE sent me a letter stating my next check up was due in 2015.  She started naming Dr. Hoar's referral, I said I've never seen Dr. Hoar and she raised her voice, seemed angry, YES YOU DID SEE DR. HOAR.  I've never seen him.  This is very unprofessional, I asked.. AM I A PATIENT yet or not.  They get you in.. then the receptionist treats you like a nobody.  What's up with that.  I put in this review and it comes up under a different name?  What is that about.  My Name is ANNIE WATTS, PORT ALBERNI.
