No reservations by phone or online. Nobody checked us in for 10 minutes. My wife told 2 people it was my birthday, but nobody told our server. Almost finished salad with my fingers before utensils showed up. Our server thanked us and placed the bill on the table and as she was about to walk away we stopped her to order my cake. She took the bill to add the $13 6-layer cake (worth the price!). Saddest part: everything that made CJ famous is gone. It's not what it was 20 years ago. Not even close. I extra star for the cake, and my ribs were delicious (but the portion was small).

Our time At Claim Jumper was Great! Just exempt it took a little longer than usual but other than that, we were served the same great food that Claim Jumper is known for. I guess the extra wait time was for extra attention to detail of our food the made it taste even more phenomenal!

Every time i go i expect  its going to get better but im always  disappointed. The food is gross the service is super bad. And the prices for what they are serving are outrageous. I tried their beef fried steak. It was disgusting. Super extra breaded barley any meat and the meat inside was so under cooked. It literally tasted like they boiled the meat. The strawberry  lemonade has no straberrys. The server threw away my left overs after i asked  for a box. Glad he did because they were going straight  to the dogs. The only reason i gave it 2 stars is because they did a fund raiser for the handicap Olympics.

Over the past 10 years that Landry's has taken over Claim Jumper the menu has been truncated to a mere reflection of the old glory that made Claim Jumper what it once was. The decor is drab and lacks the original allure of the leather spun fans in the past. Trips here are no longer an exciting adventure, but now a mundane experience with a tired menu that is too safe. Bring back something spectacular, big portions, and the ridiculous heritage that made Claim Jumper something more than an all American menu. Two other restaurants are invading this space and without anything to make Claim Jumper stand out then it will be left in the dust like the Ghost Towns the decor suggests.

Waiter was great and good food; however, there was an order for the chicken wrap with bacon and avocado. Turned out to be cabbage mix with hardly any chicken, no bacon or avocado. Ended up returning it. My Pot Pie was good.
