My boyfriend and I were assaulted last night and we tried to explained to security our side of the story and they did not want to hear it. We were just minding our own business and dancing together until a random man tried to fight my boyfriend for accidentally bumping into him. Buddy we are at a busy bar and it’s expected that maybe someone will bump into you not on purpose but it was an accident. Security immediately took their side and kicked us out. I tried to explained that my boyfriend and I were just trying to dance and they did not want to hear it. I’ve never felt so discriminated and disrespected. We were immediately kicked out and they did not care to understand where we were coming from. It’s so sad because we really didn’t do anything wrong truly. This was our first night going out in so long we did not expect it to end like this. It’s really upsetting because I really liked this place but after this experience I will never be going back. My boyfriend and I would never ever start any violence nor be apart of it. So the fact that this even happened to us is insane. They really need to hire better security because these people are not properly trained nor professional. They literally kicked us out and did not want to understand where we were coming from. Truly I’ve never had to write a review over a place but i seriously felt obligated to because I’ve never been treated so unfairly. Like I said, my boyfriend and I are the least violent people you’ll ever meet. My boyfriend would not hurt a fly, the fact that the security treated him the way that they did last night was unbelievably injustice. I just don’t have enough words to describe the injustice that happened last night and we are still processing why this happened to us.

Honestly fine atmosphere overall. What made me upset was that they took my pepper spray upon entry which I totally understand and is fine but when I left they wouldn’t let me have it back. As a smaller female, I think this is disgraceful as I counted on having that to feel save getting home without driving myself.  I was LEAVING, so I don’t understand why it was such an issue to get it back.

The music sucks !! Great atmosphere and service!! The DJ played old house music from 10 years ago. Im from NY and just wanted to here some Kendrick, drake and the latest music on radio. But what I heard was kids bop!!! This place really needs more diversity like in the DC area. I love the security team tho!!!Food: 5/5

Whatever you do. Do not go here, it is not worth the time or money. The service is extremely terrible, the atmosphere is poor, security is very rude, and the drinks are extremely watered down. I understand its a nightlife lounge, but trust me there are so many other better places in the dmv area that provide exceptional service and the experience will be, by far worth the money and time! Save yourself the time and headache, and honestly do not go here.

We booked almost all the VIP and felt incredibly disregarded during our time. We were assaulted by security for asking for help. I have never experienced this in my 15 years of working in night life. This place should advertise that VIP comes with being assaulted by security for asking for help. My sisters were feeling a bit drowsy and they were taking the time to breathe and calm down. One of our guests was looking for help from someone and because he walked away from the party security was uncoordinated and confused so their choice of discombobulated action was to assault our guest. Our guest was shoved and assaulted for standing idly. Every other single security member was standing watching while our guets was just being harassed and shoved for standing for a few minutes. We understand protocol and we Were cooperating. There was no reason for security to pick a fight with our guest. We will never come back and i am making a police report.

There are not enough stars to capture how wonderful it was to have our wedding at Clarendon Ballroom!!! When we first started looking for places in DC to get married, we were a bit overwhelmed by the choices.  Thankfully we came across Clarendon Ballroom.  We actually didn't know that they did weddings, and we are SO glad we learned that they did, as they don't just "do" weddings...they make the wedding of your dreams possible! We found them to be very affordable, and they do everything in house--linens, staff, bar, food, even the cake! It was so nice to be able to go down the checklist and say "included" to so much and to work with a single venue on so many of the key elements that pull a wedding together.  They were an absolute dream to work with! From picking out linens, to our tasting, to helping execute every last wish that we had, they amazed us every step of the way.  When we picked up our stuff on the Monday after our wedding, not one single item of decor was missing or damaged and they had gone above and beyond to save the top of our wedding cake we didn't even ask for this and send us home with some left over hors d'oeuvres from the cocktail hour! Amazing!   Our guests are STILL raving about how gorgeous the venue was, how amazing the food was, how much they loved the location and how cool the rooftop was.  I am so grateful to Clarendon Ballroom, Sandra Hoehne, and all the other amazing staff that literally pulled off the wedding of our dreams and I am SO glad that my husband and I chose Clarendon Ballroom as our wedding venue!

Went up to the rooftop. Got a drink, didn't love it and the bartenders fixed it right up. Great place for people watching too!Food: 5/5

I am extremely disappointed by your business practices after reaching out multiple times through multiple avenues phone call/VM, text, Instagram message, contact form to see if anyone had turned in my wallet after losing it on a Saturday night. Please do not advertise ways to contact your business if you will not monitor them. I knew the chances were slim that it was found, but a courtesy call/text stating it had not been turned in is not a lot to ask for. Do better.

Kaylee is the best I’ve bartended I’ve encountered genuinely all levels they are all mean except her, Her drinks are good af….Food: 5/5
