The Claude Moore Colonial Farm is a recreated 18th century farm. Costumed staff and volunteers work the land as it was done in the 18th century, and encourage visitors to help!
The Claude Moore Colonial Farm is a privately funded and operated National Park and living history museum founded in 1972. The Farm is managed by The Friends of Claude Moore Colonial Farm at Turkey Run Inc., a 501(c)(3) #52-1216556 publicly supported non-profit corporation under a cooperative agreement with the National Park Service.
The Farm’s mission is to educate the public about American daily life and agriculture through participation and involvement in an 18th century Virginia tenant family farm and related programs.
