It's a fun dive. Thermocline was shape compared to Athens. Finding the shark is very easy!!

Great place to practice Scuba skills and try new equipment. Not a deep diving lake but it's a really nice area.

Great location to practice Scuba skills. If you can get comfortable in the limited visibility here, clear water will be a piece of cake.

Came here for open water certification. It's calm and quiet. The first weekend in May the surface water temp was 74ish and visibility about 15 feet. The dogs that wander stay with the owners and are friendly. The restroom is clean with 2 outdoor showers and 1 indoor shower. $20 for divers and $10 for spectators EACH day. CASH ONLY.

My open water diver certification was here in June. Location is good. Google maps directions are slightly different so look for CSSP signs. Check in was quick. Cash only....? Make sure to hit up the bank so you have plenty of cash. $20 to dive, $10 for observers, and $8 for refills. Pavilions were nice. Water was about 83 at the surface and visibility was moderate (about what you would expect from an East Texas pond). I enjoyed all the sunken ships, aircrafts, and the like. The bathhouse was well maintained and much appreciated. I camped there since I was commuting from DFW. $5 per person per night. Plenty of space to pitch a tent. Overall, a great place.
