I keep trying to call the phone number to ask a question. The automated voice system tells me that they can not connect me with an agent because I am not calling during regular business hours. Then it goes on to tell me business hours are 7am to 7pm. I am calling at 9:15 am, which apparently the Social Security Administration seems to think is outside of their business hours. Useless and horrible service. I guess they want to make sure to live up to the stereotypes of incompetence associated with government.

The security guard who was there was rude, disrespectful and condescending - he says it does not matter and is obviously on a power trip. 

I wonder if he would like someone talking to his mother the way he talked to a room full of seniors? It was so over the top the lady signing in infront of me was trembling so bad she couldn’t press the buttons while he went off on his rant. (Pathetic)

His (before opening) horse and pony show to a captive audience should be monitored, reviewed and toned down.

The person who actually helped me was very pleasant and told me that I should talk to somebody about this mans behavior.

I  would like someone from this office to please call me to discuss this further.

I went in today to sort out payments for my uncle who moved to another country. Despite having power of attorney and identification, the employee told me my power of attorney was worthless to her and she wouldn't talk to me since I could be "anyone off the street" and I'd have to go through all sorts of complicated steps overseas to sort it out. This is after calling and being told all I needed to show was his new address. The right hand doesn't know what the left is doing here, and the workers really need to improve their knowledge base and stop wasting our time.

First impressions do count. The security guard was rude and condascending. He would not answer my questions. Basically told us to sit down and be quiet. The person who helped us when we was served was very informative. I did express my concerns to him also. I hope someone at that office retrains the security guard because he is the first impression and he is not very nice to people.
