On June 11, 2014 I took my vehicle into Mr. Clemons Custom Car Care.  Something had been spilt and smelled like sour milk. It was in the front and back floor boards. Mr. Clemons told me it would cost $45.00 to clean the carpet.  I had cleaned on the floor boards myself trying to get the smell out and Mr. Clemons said since it was still damp the only way to get the smell out was to replace the carpet pad.  Mr. Clemons said for $275.00 he would take the carpet out and dye it and while it was out he would replace the carpet pad, and detail clean the car there wouldn't be a spot on the car that wouldn't be touched to be cleaned, all for $275.00.  On June 16, 2014,  I went to pick my car up Mr. Clemons told me to get rid of the chemical smell in the car I needed to buy a bag of charcoal and put a slit in the top and it would pull out all the cleaning chemical smell out of the car.  When I got home I looked in the back and front to see what had been done.  There was a two inch space where Mr. Clemons had sprayed around the seats and everything instead of taking it out. The carpet spray it used did not match the carpet and he did not take the seats and carpet pad out.  So I took my car back to Mr. Clemons to ask him why he didn't replace the pad like he charged me for he said, “ I couldn't get pad as thick and nice as the original so he didn't replace it”.  So I told him he owed me the difference between the original $45.00 and the $275.00.  I took the car back to him three time to get this resolved.  Mr. Clemons refused to resolve this issue.  Be advised if you take your car to Mr. Clemons Custom Car Care he won't necessarily do what he is paid for.
