I have been going to the court oak for many years now and they have improved a lot. Food took a bit of time to come out, np it that’s fine as that insures me it’s fresh. The staff are nice and it is nice and cozy inside. Parking is not too much of a problem they have a nice six’s car park my only complaint is that it is hard to book over the phone on some days or if something is not on the menu they don’t tell you when ordering at the bar, they only tell you one you have paid which then you feel forced to get something else for the same price. Other then that is this a nice afternoon family friendly place to sit and eat.
I brought my fiancee in today for lunch and the food and drink was absolutely brilliant im quite partial to an ale and these were some of the best pints I've had well kept full of flavour and perfect temperature the food was absolutely delicious and great value for money and the staff were friendly as always and absolutely brilliant so I'd just like to say a big thank you to the team that was on today and that I will be coming back soon.
Bang on Full English Breakfast! Couldn't fault it! The Court Oak has been refurbed to the highest standard. Looks mint! Staff are extremely pleasant and very helpful. Go get booked in!
I Love The Court Oak Pub For The Food And The Bar Staff Are Friendly & Make Lovely Well Presented Drinks Also. Overall Great Place To Go. Kids Love The Build Your Own Ice-cream. Kid-friendliness: Has Machines For Toys For Kids And A Great Outdoor Space For Kids To Run Around. Parking: Parking Is Good Just Dont Forget To Enter Your Registration At The Bar. Wheelchair accessibility: Is Wheelchair Friendly Inside And Outside.
Honestly could not have made our day better during this pandemic- the service was fantastic the staff exceptional. Bent over backwards to accommodate us. The food was lovely all came out together hot and never short of a drink order! Would definitely recommend For small functions and a family meal out! Thank you Court Oak!
Enjoyed a lovely lunch at the Court Oak. The staff gave a warm welcome and great service. The food was delivered in good time, piping hot, with generous portions and sensibly priced. We chose the fish and chip meal, the fish was delicious, lightly battered and not greasy, with a generous portion of chips and peas. The interior of the restaurant is pleasant, clean, and not too noisy. A garden to the rear allows dogs to join the party. Overall, a great experience, we will be back. Parking: Make sure you enter your registration details in the terminal at the bar.
Went for a group meal. Service was good food is all ok nothing sparkling but enjoyed my mixed grill bar the steak which was a little tough. Another had a sirloin which was tough and another had a rump which they mostly left all other meals seemed fine. I think the secret to a sizzler is Don't have steaks!Food: 3/5
Some of the Staff could be better, temperamental'ly speaking Or maybe they are as busy as the NHS workers these days.
Poor customer service, the attitude of staff is extremely rude. They sound very bored and that it’s a chore if you’re asking for someone. We also asked to swap the ice cream in our dessert for custard, we were told we would have to pay for the custard as “it’s tough if we don’t want the ice cream” - never have I experienced that before. I don’t think I’ll be returning.
Great pub brilliant food. Havnt been here since moving 25yrs ago so modern and nice great changes. Highly recommend.
