A decent steak in Englewood Cliffs, ordered porterhouse for 4 and few appetizers plus pasta. Canadian beacon was  fine could be little thicker.  Beefsteak tomatoes and onions were good. Porterhouse for 4 was great. Pasta and fries were ok but not worth the money.  Go with the porterhouse.Food: 4/5

Celebrated my husband's birthday here. The porterhouse for 2 was smaller than we expected but for the price, pretty decent. The oysters were fresh. The wine was delicious.  The owner said he would pick for us and his choice didn't disappoint.  We asked for the dessert menu and it never came so we just asked for the check. I would still visit again if I was in the area.

Steak was very under cooked. I asked for medium rare and it came out rare with the intent on finishing the cooking process on the searing hot plate. The problem was it came out right after the salad so by the time I got to the steak the plate was room temp and couldn’t finish “cooking”. There were some pieces that were done eventually, but for the most part the $50 t-bone was inedible. Also the only flavor on the steak was “char”. No seasoning whatsoever. I got a baked potato and there was no salt, no butter, and no pepper on the table. So I had a bland potato. To go with my bland steak. The servers never came by to “check-in”. Table bread was stale. I guess that’s what I get for going there solo and not with one of the several large groups that got plenty of service. When they did come by they were nice, but it was very inconsistent.

Had a wonder meal at this restaurant At first I was pp⁰thinking of celebrating my birthday at another restaurant, but after reading all the 5 star reviews decided to give it a tried. I was glad I did. My meal was terrific.  I want to thank Peter, one of the owner's family member making my birthday a special one.  I will definitely come back, I highly recommend this Place!

Great place for a family gathering or dinner! I was able to enjoy delicious food comfortably because we didn't need too much worry about our dress code or the prices. The taste of the food overall was very nice! The reason I subtracted one star is about the service. The service here is by no means bad, but it wasn't very friendly or impressive.

It's in a house, cute!  Parking in the back.  They added tables on the porch and sealed it in with clear plastic.  We opted to sit inside away from windows and doors since it was 10 degrees outside... lol  Ordered French Onion Soup so we could warm up lol.  Did its job to warm us up but the soup was very thin and the cheese was a bit rubbery...  We did not order steak this time as we've been eating alot of red meat recently hehehe.  But they smelled amazing from our neighboring tables.  Will come back again for the steak.  We got Chilean Seabass and Scallops.  Both were delicious!  Onion rings were delicious, we liked that they were not drowning in batter.  Our friend is vegetarian so even though its not on the menu they will accommodate.  He got Pasta with Vegetables.  Service was Excellent!!!

Lovely experience! Some of the best service we have received at a steakhouse. The owner walks around greeting every table and you can tell he really cares about quality. We started with the espresso martinis and they were very good. That being said for round two we got the cosmos and wow! Arguably the best cosmo I've had, certainly the best one I have had in recent memory - perfect mix of strong and flavorful, highly recommend! The starter bread was standard and did the job. We got crab cakes and tried the French onion soup. I do not normally eat French onion, but I have to say this one was really tasty and had bold flavor. The crab cakes were fire! Lightly fried and had the seafood taste finish you're looking for. We both got the filet mignon - fyi it comes on a hot plate so if you normally get medium, youq'll likely want the medium rare. The owner recommended this and it was the right call. What I liked about the steaks here is the meat was quality! Was not over seasoned or to buttery/oily - just really tasteful and cooked to perfection see picture. We got the mashed potatoes and asparagus as sides - both were good and standard. They have a parking lot in the back for convenience. Price wise this place is good, you 100% get great value for the money! Would absolutely recommend this spot. Overall I give Cliff's Steakhouse a 4.4 out of 5.

Delicious food and wonderful atmosphere.  The grilled squid appetizer was tender and perfect.  I had the surf and turf and my uncle had the rib eye and thoroughly enjoyed it.  The apple strudel with ice cream was fantastic!  Great cappuccino as well. This is high quality food with high quality prices.  Everything is a la carte, so you have to order each item separately.  Overall great food and experience.

I have been frequenting Cliffs for over 15 years. Service and food are always consistent with food cooked to perfection and  expectations are always exceeded.   Rossi, Peter and they’re team are always eager to please and go above and beyond.  I’ve been to Maestro’s in the city and Ruth Chris, both very good places, and I have not found a place which has the quality of food for the value they provide.  Selection of wines is very good from Caymus to Tignanaello.   Cocktails are also amazing!  Whenever I’m in the mood for a great steak, I look no further than Cliffs.

Not coming back. It’s not worth it the price. We even had to ask for the menu and the drinks menu. While other table who came after us had everything set up quickly.Food: 2/5
