$&@$ you too! BE AWARE they are bad and corrupt! That DCS richelle whatever she is she works VERY closely “with the community” including with the cops a.k.a. p.i.g.s and all so be BECAREFUL and AWARE of that if you don’t want to get snitched out, called p.i.g.s a.k.a cops on or accused for something they didn’t find If you do go DO NOT provide your address, phone number or any other personal information. They will track you.
I’ve always been treated with respect, with dignity, and taken seriously. From the front office staff, to the therapists and even the DCS Richelle. My first counselor was John, who was a gentle and kind soul who sat with me in my pain for many weeks and months and assisted me through many crises . I now work with Cassie who is equally as kind and supportive. I have learned a lot about myself and have been given the space to reflect. I have also spoken with Noel and Amy in crisis situations. Everyone is encouraging, has their own skill sets, and ways of encouraging and helping. Anyone can benefit from therapy. You just need to be open and take it and yourself seriously .
Very clinical setting. Offices are tiny windowless rooms, not at all the environment I was looking for when seeking therapy. Seems like a lot of the patients there are mandated to go, not by their own accord. Very difficult to find a therapist/counselor in this town unless you're on probation or a recovering addict which I'm not, just mentally ill. The counselor I saw kept pushing me to see the psychiatrist, for a "diagnosis" which I felt was very unnecessary as I am not seeking medicine/ssri's as part of my treatment plan and made that very clear. Safe to say I haven't been back. If you are comfortable working with someone who already has too much on their caseload, and are willing to meet in a tiny, claustrophobic, windowless room, this is the place for you...
