Owner was offended that I had photos of my consigned clothing, I was called to collect my nice clothing. (Should have read blog first and would have known her checks bounce)! Employees were nice, owner made no eye contact as she entered and did not greet any customers in her store. Certainly she must have a reason for not allowing photos to be taken of my clothes as I leave them in her hands to sell? Right?? Says she donates what doesn't sell, that would be my tax deduction! Very Suspicious!

I have never consigned my clothes at any store before and after seeing great reviews of Clothes Minded, I decided to give it a shot. I brought in my clothes in Nov/Dec 2016 and picked up my check on January 15, 2017. A few days later, my bank notified me that the check had bounced due to insufficient funds. I called the store and the lady told me they had been hit with some counterfeit bills and to just try the check again.. Okay, no problem! Tried the check again, and it bounced, again. My bank charges fees to me for when this happens. So now I have double bank fees. I called the store again and let them know and they told me to come in to the store sometime and we would come up with a solution. They have since sent me another check but forgot to add in the bank fees. I have not tried to cash the check again because I'm STILL waiting for my check with the bank fees. It has been since February 22, 2017 that I was told a check to cover the bank fees would be mailed to me. It is now March 9,2017 and still nothing. I would not recommend this place for consignment because it seems you will not get a good check but you will be charged bank fees. The lack of urgency and customer service is astounding. I have been polite and patient, but almost two months into this, and I am extremely frustrated.
