This has been my new spa home since summer 2016. Always clean, friendly, tranquil and they give me hot tea or cold water (my choice) without asking. I don't know what experience others have had, but I go every month and they don't pressure, ask, or squint for a tip. If paying by credit card, they ask "how much tip"... to apply to the credit card, but what's the problem if you liked the service? I believe the command of English is limited for some of them, so it may have been misinterpreted. This is a fabulous place and they're always introducing new, improved products. I drive from Hamden and make a day of nails, waxing and massage. Never a bad day here!

Many cuts and poor treatment during my manicure. The staff seemed very uninterested in doing their job correctly and seemed to take it as a joke. Overpriced among other negative traits...

How much does this salon pay their workers because I felt pressured to give a tip. Not that the service was bad, I would have given a tip anyway like I usually do, but the woman swiping my card had the nerve to ask me for a tip and then argue with me when I said no tip. It made me not want to leave a tip even more. A tip is a choice not a requirement and a customer should not be shamed for giving or not giving or for how much they give. This isn't a restaurant. Where did this tipping at a spa come from anyway? Here's a revolutionary idea: how about businesses pay their workers a livable wage!

I came here with a friend instead of my usual nail salon. Terrible job with regular mani and pedi. I asked for thin coats and he did thick looking sloppy nails. Everything felt rushed. I walked out more stressed out than before I walked in. Good job with massage, but nails were bad.

I was given four $10 gift certificates for Christmas. I went yesterday April 11th for the first time. When it came time to pay I took out the gift certificates and the man that did my nails took only one (I was giving him two). He came back from the front desk with a bill. $26 and change less $10 for one gift certificate. He brushed me off when I wanted to use two (I thought 20 would cover it). As my nails dried I thought about it and when I was leaving I stopped at the front desk and asked the woman why I could only use one. She went on about how these are not gift certificates but "give always" and not good. Even after I pointed out the gift certificates say gift certificates AND had Clover nails and spa printed. Also they were the same that were on her desk. So when I asked if these are good, she said no. I will NEVER return to this place. I will tell anyone I know that has nails done to never visit this establishment. I usually pay $16.00 for a fill so I know this place is WAY over priced. Stay away!
